Description: Cuisine in Delicja is a combination of traditional Polish taste with Mediterranean cuisine accents. Fresh ingredients are selected with great care in order to ensure composition harmony. A large choice of wine and their proper selection will allow you to enjoy the taste of meals like nowhere else. Our professional service and subtle background music will emphasize uniqueness of your meal. Despite placed in the very centre, we can guarantee peace from hustle and bustle of the city. Our "Patio Pod Platanem" whose name was taken from one of the oldest trees in the area of Wielkopolska is an exceptional enrichment. This and also other stories connected with a nearby Plac Wolności [Freedom Square] add unusual charm to our place.

The address of the Delicja Restaurant is in the Plac Wolności. This is convenient for many of the leading hotels in the city and it is but a short walk away from the Stary Rynek or Old Market, the historical centre of the city. It may not look much from the outside but inside there is real quality.
The hotel definitely feels more upmarket than many of those in the more touristy part of the city. It is certainly a restaurant where you could take a business client for lunch or dinner. The staff are courteous, welcoming and professional. They speak English. Delicja is quite elegant, far more refined than the typical tourist restaurant. I would imagine it would appeal to business people and to those who are looking for something discrete and a cut above the average. It was a very hot day when we visited it for lunch so we chose to eat under outside under the canopy. There was no intrusive noise. I went for asparagus soup followed by lamp chops served with potato pancakes. The quality of the produce used in the dishes was excellent. Everything was cooked perfectly.
An equivalent restaurant in London or Paris would cost far, far more.

The owner of this restaurant seems to be a bit strange if not crazy.
We have reserved a table at 3pm, came at 2:50 - restaurant was empty, all of the tables have been prepared for guests, however we were told we have to wait for our table to have been finished. After a couple of minutes, still waiting, I have asked to talk with menager to share my opinion on this strange situation. Suddenly came a guy who was supposed to be an owner, very unpleasant and almost rude, who tried to punish me for complaining that table is not prepared for a reservation made a day earlier. After asking him what's the problem he... refused any further service! Never met such a rude situation in any płace in the world. Apart of this it seems to be really strange, that owner of quite expensive restaurant so easy throws off three customers who wanted to have a business lunch at his place. Taking to consideration, the restaurant was empty at the time.

We can recommend this restaurant for all which like excellent high class kitchen, huge food selection and worldwide trip trough best vines in Poznan. The nice time and dinner close exceptionally dessers. It is good place for enjoy a launch (v. quiet, relaxed corner) or diner with good lighting room and candle lights on the top you can expect first class service which follows your wishes. The restaurant is out of main street and this is small problem for first visitations but since few years we try to win time to be there for a private dinner, or business launch. It is somthing special vs. typical Polish restaurant and has first class level not only for Polish region it is a must like evening walk around old market in Poznan. Bye till december business trip to Poland
