“A little gem”
Reviewed January 3, 2011

Must admit, dont recall quite as much graffiti in other places I have been, but what amazing architecture. One of the nicest squares I have come across (particularly beautiful with a covering of snow) Despite the snow everything kept moving - plane only 10 minutes late in taking off - good reliable bus to and from the airport. Loves the brass gnomes all over the place.

Not the most popular but definitely worth visiting. Loads of young people, laid down atmosphere and nice parks.

“The place I love”
Reviewed June 8, 2010

Wroclaw is my partners home city and I have visited this beautiful city several times now. It is a lovely mix of old and new. I love the old style shops where you always get friendly service and a smile. I find the people very nice, always willing to help and a lot also speak English which makes communication a lot easier. The only thing I'm not sure of is driving which can be a bit scary.
The food is great and wherever you go you always get well fed.
I will be visiting again in a few weeks time and I am greatly looking forward to it

“Impart Cultural and Arts Centre”
Reviewed October 29, 2009

Situated on the eastern end of Wroclaw old city centre and close to the restaurant, shopping & bars district is a discreet gem of cultural experience. The Impart cultural and arts centre is readily accessible by pedestrians (via a well-lit, secure underpass) or by taxi. On my city walkabout on a Tuesday night, I came upon Impart centre where I found an interesting exhibition of contemporary Polish art, had a quiet beer with a reasonably priced authentic dinner and drawn by the stirring sounds I found an excellent 5-piece jazz band in full flow. After the concert I had a pleasant return to the bar where I chatted to staff and with the amazing jazz drummer with whom I played body drumming!!

The whole centre has an understated capacity to surprise and the bartender told me that there are many avant-garde events such as unscripted free stage nights which are popular with some of Wroclaw’s many students.
