“A must-visit”
Reviewed May 1, 2012 via mobile

Each time I come to WRO I stop by the Sakana. Definitely live the sushis and the atmosphere.
Tell the chef the fish you like and he will create the maki you have ever dreamt of :-)

“Best sushi in Wroclaw”
Reviewed January 19, 2011

I visit this sushi spot regularly. I find the interior design the way it should be - modern but not provocative, oriental but not tacky. Food is just awesome. Maybe a bit more expensive than in a few other restaurants but its worth. Service is very polite. Great place for date as well as business meeting.

“Really good sushi!!”
Reviewed January 15, 2010

I've been to Sakana 3 times in the past 4 months and I've always had really good food, and there's a nice friendly atmosphere. Everything is fresh, prepared in front of you and put on little boats to travel around the bar - he chefs are keen to show how well they know their job. It's fairly expensive - but good sushi is always expensive. They all speak excellent English!

“Terrible”
Reviewed March 15, 2009

A very limited menu. No examples of fresh natural fish. Everything is covered up in mayonnaise, cream cheese or fried in tempura batter. A serious sign that something is wrong. Bad service. I asked for a simple sashimi plate to see the quality before I ventured into their not so appetizing looking rolls and waited 20 minutes or so. When I asked about my order the chef asked me if I could wait 5 more minutes. I left. Conveyor belt sushi restaurants have never been attractive to me. All the boats were empty. A circling white fish and cold tempura rolls were circling. This restaurant is all hype and nonsense. With so many wonderful sushi restaurants in Wroclaw there is no need to go to this chain Sushi bar that treats customers rudely. A japanese chef would never have allowed his customer to be so badly treated. Pass it over until they learn how to expand their menu, treat customers well and have good offerings of uncovered fish without the goup.
