“Enjoy Something Different in Wroclaw! Thaindian!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 24, 2014

There really are a lot of polish restaurants in this town, and other European ones too. Though, apart from Sushi, there isn't a lot of Asian.

Silk offers something different, and even though it's not like the best Indian or Thai place I have eaten at, it is quite good, and a welcome change from heavy (though lovely!) Polish food.

Apparently, spicy food has not hit on in Poland quite yet. I had red curry, and the waiter told me I was really brave, as it was a very hot dish. It most definitely was not, I would rank it as medium or medium to mild. Though not the most authentic, it measured up to many other Thai restaurants I have eaten at, apart from not being quite spicy enough. But, I assume they want to survive, and there is no point serving food so hot very few people will eat it.

The naan bread was quite good (Thai food and naan bread is an interesting combination!) but could be a bit more cooked. It was a bit like Naan pancakes. But, by all means, it was not bad.

The mango lassi was really good (truly a mix of Indian and Thai food here!)

You don't travel to Wroclaw to eat Asian food, but if you stay here some days, you are likely to want to seek it out. Silk may be just the place you are looking for! And for the location and quality, very good prices too.
