“Very well located”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

We were given a room to the back, which was very quiet but no view. The suite was big and comfortable, well cleaned and with a/c. The breakfast was nice and there was plenty of choices available. Hotel Patio is very well located right next to the main square. Friendly staff at the reception. I would be happy to go back next time in Wroclaw.

Excellent in every way: beautifully, artistically appointed, clean, quiet, very helpful and friendly staff, delicious breakfast, and Market Square just around the corner. Want to return to this hotel.

Did a walk-in in this hotel, because our other reservation in Wroclaw went wrong. The receptionist was very friendly and made us a good deal. The rooms are big and very comfortable.
Everything is very clean and the beds are very good.
The breakfast was very nice and tasty, enough things to choose from and complete.
We also tried their restaurant one night and I must say it was also of very good quality.
The entire hotelstaff was excellent.
You can also park there, not for free but guarded.
And the location is just a few steps away from the Rynek!

Room Tip: Higher floors are better to avoid the street noice, especially in the weekend!

My colleague and I popped in to the Patio Hotel's restaurant for an evening meal, and we were blown away by its outstanding quality. We started with zurek soup, served as it is traditionally in a large, round bread loaf, and it was one of the best I have tasted in Poland. My colleague then had steak (perfectly cooked and very tender), while I had large, succulent prawns in a lemon and garlic sauce with salad. I then had chocolate tart with home made ice cream and liqueur. The service was attentive and very friendly, and complemented perfectly the delicious food. What a pity the restaurant was empty, so lacked ambience, and its decor needs to be refreshed to bring it more alive as a venue. However, I will definitely go back again next time I am in Wroclaw.

I have spent one night at this hotel as part of a business trip. Whilst my room was very large and very clean, the bed was quite uncomfortable as too soft. My room overlooked a courtyard and i was woken up in the middle of the night by music coming from a nearby disco.
Breakfast selection was very good as is the location, a few steps from the Rynek. Nice toiletries in the bathroom too.

As with other reviewers, I found the Standard room I had for a couple of nights to be small, and poor sleep quality owing to paper thin walls, external noise and very thin mattress on a hard bed base. Having said this, the rest of the hotel was fine, and I take it the premier rooms are better - but standard was all that was available around Oktoberfest.
Breakfast was not bad the first day (early), not as good on the second day when some things were run out such as fresh juice, hot food, small choice on bread, no croissant.
The location is of course convenient for the centre of town, and on busy summer evenings, you need to expect some noise. The hotel is just off the Rynek, and next to Acadaemus bar (good place, popular with students).
Overall, I wouldn't book this hotel again, having stayed a few other places in Wroclaw which have all been better. The standard rooms are cheap, but in comparison for the UK, the rooms in say Travel Inn are better.

Room Tip: Not one facing the bell tower of the church opposite or overlooking the street, or bar to the side.

At first glance the room that I stayed in was clean, simple but well-appointed. But trouble started when I checked in, and upon check-in I was told that only one room was available. The concierge failed to mention that it was a smoking room - and I'm allergic to smoke. Worse was the sleep quality once you're inside the room - the walls are paper-thin, and since I was on the 1st floor on a Saturday, you can hear the extremely loud noise from the bar revelers outsider until 4am. If you're a light sleeper, this is a place to avoid. And the worst part: I opened the toilet to find a bunch of used cigarette butts inside!!! I'm not sure if they were there before I checked in, or after, but it was disgusting and really unprofessional that they didn't even bother cleaning it properly before someone takes the room.

To their credit, the concierge was kind enough to lend me an umbrella when it was raining outside.

But honestly, I would definitely avoid staying in this place in the future.
