Old Town - Historic Center is the location of Market Square, so it is hard to differentiate in a review. Wroclaw was one of the few Polish cities not leveled in WW2, so many of the buildings are original. I'd advise travelers to read about the Soviet attempts to wipe out the German history of this city, once called Breslau.
A wander through the Old Town is a must. Lots to see and the building so are well preserved. Lots of great restaurants and bars.
The city was heavily damaged during WW II and while there has been extensive repairs and replacement, you could still feel what was gone and how much more lovely it must have looked.
Wroclaw is really beautiful and has big historical town. I found it even better than Krakow. Best is main square but walking around streets and bridges is must as well.
Unexpected beautiful city with a very relaxed atmosphere and remarkable history. recommended for a 2 day visit.
