“Great Views”
Reviewed June 21, 2012

If there is one thing you should do in Wroclaw, a side from laze about on the Rynek, it is climb the 250ish steps of St. Elizabeth's and get a panoramic view of the city. It is a breathless climb, really tough but there's no hurry! Whatever breath you have left will be taken away by the view of the Rynek, Old Town and city.

“review St Elizabeth”
Reviewed May 25, 2012

loved this church. though a sombre church which was badly damaged over various eras, however loved the atmosphere. You could climbing the tower for a panoramic view of the city- a no-no for people with claustrophobia or heart/limb/breathing issues

“St. Elizabeth Church”
Reviewed August 5, 2010

The church itself is spectacular. It is a very impressive building with a huge tower. It makes you wonder why it was built so high. Inside the church it is open and massive but the best part is the door outside that allows you to climb the tower up a narrow spiral staircase. It is only 300 steps to the top and the view from the top would take your breathe away if you had any left after climbing the 300 steps. It offers a panoramic view of the entire town and if the skies are clear you can see the mountains in the distance. Just watch out on the stairs as there is no passing room so meeting and passing people coming in the opposite direction is a very friend experience
