When traveling around the City Island, this is a beautiful structure both to see inside and outside, and then to view the amazing city of Wroclaw ( correctly pronounced "VROTZ'-wav", in Polish ) from atop the observation tower. Be sure to have your camera, and also purchase a CD of recorded music from one of the recognized finest pipe organs found in Poland.

Imposing cathedral on Cathedral Island. Like most of Wroclaw rebuilt after the Second World War. Impressive interior but the best feature is the fact that you can take a lift to the top of the tower. The gas lamps are very impressive.

Located in a gorgeous little square close to the river, this cathedral is well worth visiting. The architecture of this building is stunning impressive and as a fun twist, the street lights are lit outside by hand every evening which is something you rarely get to see anywhere. If possible time you visit to seeing this for an extra little twist!

Built in a Gothic style during the 13th century it holds two bell towers and an impressive facade. After visiting its dark yet intriguing interior, we decided to pay the 5zl ticket and take the elevator up the northern tower. The view from the top was great despite the rainy day and we enjoyed it for a while. There was also a small museum dedicated to African art at the base of the tower itself.

If you are in Wroclaw this is definitely something that you need to see. This cathedral is so grand. It is also impressive to see how it was restored after the war. Enjoy
