“Great place to stay”
Reviewed February 23, 2014

Spent 4 nights at the Puro and very glad we did. Got a great price via Expedia and consequently paid extra to have breakfast.
Located in the Jewish Quarter about 5-7 mins walk from Rynek and over the bridge from the Pl.Orlat Lwowskich bus stop from the airport.
Upon arrival we were given our keys which allowed you to have 5 free drinks from the 2 coffee machines in the lobby, they even had take-away cups for coffee on the go.
The room, whilst not the largest was very comfortable. It had a hi-tech control panel where you could alter the heating, lighting, it contained messages from the hotel e.g Wi-Fi code, set an alarm, check the local weather and even check out.
The breakfast was substantial. you could chose pancakes, cakes and pastries, bagels and wraps, salads and cold cuts, fruit and yoghurt, cereal and sausage and egg. You were also allowed to take sandwiches/wraps/bagels for your lunch.

We didnt eat or drink there in the evening so cant comment on prices.

There were ipads in the lobby and they had a big screen available for big games of football.

I would definitely stay here again.

I have spent 2 nights in this hotel for business trip.
The hotel itself is wonderful - very clean, high-tech control panels in the room, internet access consoles in the lobby, self check-in, self check-out, etc.
All facilities you can ask for, can be accessed and controlled via the control panel in each room; radio, music, ambiance (work light profile, relax light profile, etc).
I can honestly say it was the first time in my life I self checked-out.
The rooms are very clean, there`s complimentary water and the coffee and tea machines are located in the lobby for everyone`s convenience.

The location is very close to the city`s old center, yet far enough to be quiet. It takes you about 5 minutes to reach the old city.

Taxi from the airport is around 70 zlots, that`s around 15 Euros.
You can also take a bus that will leave you near the Opera house - a couple of minutes walk to/from the hotel. The price is 3 zlots but be careful because if you have a large baggage you will need to pay an additional zloty for it.

Room Tip: Any room they will give you is very nice, but I like the rooms with the park view.

This poor-star qualification is only to catch your attention. Because regarding to me, I love Puro Hotel. What you will find here is a honest review, where upsides and downsides are up to you.
Everything changes, and so do the hotels. Puro Hotel is the vanguard of it. Hotels with big rooms, marble everywhere, and plenty of bellboys are in the past. Puro Hotel is modern bauhaus style in shocking yellow with top high-tech facilities, and all mostly unattended replaced by technology.
Want to turn on the lights, make a phone call, set up alarm? For all of this there's a tech toy on the wall. If you barely know how to use your remote control, you're gonna have a bad time here.
Any room is perfect, on one side with a view to the pubs, on the other side with a view to the park and the river. Breakfast is superb -> must try the spicy wraps.
The hotel is situated next to the most popular pubs, and 5 minutes walking from the market square (Rynek).
For business or pleasure, must stay in Puro Hotel.

thanks for your stay and opinion. We also appreciate your cleverness, butI only hope it will not create a new trend on TRipAdvisor :).
Most important is you really like us and appreciate our work and effort put to the project.

we stayed for 5 days over the New Year period. Very clean modern hotel. We requested a high room and got it. Although the room was quite small, it had some great features, Free Wifi, Free international calls, and access to internet via the Ipad, as well as the cool things like changing the colour of the lights. The heated floor in the bathroom was also nice.

The location of the hotel was great, literally over the road from where you leave the train station after getting the train from the airport. 5-10 mins walk to the Square, which is not bad at all.

Check in wasn't untill 3, which I think is a bit late, but it was not a big problem as we could just leave our bags and go for a walk or some food until later.

Never ate or drank in the bar area, but it looked like the rest of the hotel, clean and modern, used the free hot drinks machine a few times, although the chocolate based drinks seemed to taste a bit off at times.

Bed very comfortable, especially pillows.

Would highly reccommend
