We eat here every time we come through Boleslawiec. The food is very traditional Polish and done well. The pierogi are definitely a highlight - they sell them frozen, as well, and we like to bring a bag home with us. I really enjoy the bread that comes with the meal - they serve it along with a pot of fat with bacon in it that will clog your arteries but tastes delicious. The servers here have always been friendly with us.

Prices are very good - last time we were there, we ordered everything we wanted, and then some. For example, we ordered one of each dessert! Even having done all that, the price was still around $50 USD. I'd definitely recommend stopping here if you are passing by.

Delicious home-style Polish cuisine and great service. Optional salad bar available. Bread is home-baked and comes with a spread of pork fat. (they will happily provide butter also). Everything our group ordered was delicious!

We went there on a Sunday afternoon with family and friends. The ground floor tables were all occupied, so we were ushered upstairs, which was warm, cosy and had that "feel at home' ambiance.
The waitress was at the table immediately, order taken with no interruptions. Since it was a family late lunch, we opted for various soups and pierogis. The portions were huge and the food fingerlicking. We liked the idea of home-made bread, cakes and pies being exposed on a side table. They looked all delicious and one must plan his meal well if you want some room left for a dessert. All in all it was a very pleasant experience, partly because we dined with people whose company we merely enjoyed. A few words of feedback from our lot: though we think Bolesławiec ceramics is second to none, the open salt & pepper containers (from which you pinch your condiment) are not hygienic. Same with toothpicks which should be the ones with individual wrapping, otherwise they collect dust. But these are minor details. Service-wise it was ok with only one 'but'. The waitresses are good-looking and helpful but when you have your dinner with a family, you like it served for all at once. Secondly, we did not appreciate the idea of serving main courses while the table had not been cleared after the starters.
But enough complaining. Summing up it is a nice place and am sure next time in this beautiful town, we would visit again !

Fantastic place to eat in Boleslawiec with nice Polish Genuine Food.
The location is a bit outside the city, but it is worth it to come over.
There is a safe parking, and the building is very charming and inviting
Go for the "Pierogi" they are the best !!!!

I found this restaurant charming, the food was good (although they did get a little swamped when a bus tour arrived!). Our waitress spoke decent English, and the menus were in multiple languages, including English... very easy to see what we needed to order. Our plate of pieorgies were delicious, and there was so much we couldn't eat it all... and with drinks my bill was about 6 euro! Thoroughly enjoyable experience!
