“Lovely time”

We were treated extremely well at this property. the breakfast was great, and the suite we were assigned was very comfortable and lush. The only problem we had while there was the unavailability of wifi in the room. Though it was advertised as having wifi in the guestrooms, we had to go downstairs to the bar in order to sign on.

Absolutely awesome stay! The hotel is very well decorated. The location could not have been bettter. Parking was limited in the gated area, but we used the sides and nothing ever bothered our vehicle. The food was delicious, pizza was the best I have had in Europe. The owner is there to ensure everything goes great. He loved our small Boston Terrier we brought along, and our kids loved how the place was decorated and walking around seeing how it was all decorated. Definitely would recommend to anyone!

Driving up to this beautiful Villa was through a 'transition' neighborhood...but when we saw the Villa we were reassured. Gated super safe parking. Once we went in, we were immediately greeted by the friendliest staff. We ate dinner---we wanted something traditional Polish so they made us a special plate. Breakfast buffet was included and it was delicious. Now for the best part---the entire place was decorated in antique furniture, eclectic art and masks. Our room was HUGE, complete w/ sitting room and a modern bathroom---shower was a 6 head sprayer bar and the bathtub was big enough to swim in (almost). The bed was so comfortable. This was a beautiful, fun place to stay. I loved the staff. We would stay here again on our next trip.

My recent booking at the Villa Ambasada went better than I could have imagined. Our group was made up of 11 women and we had a 4 person room with an extra bed and 3 doubles. All of the rooms were spacious and the largest one was great for a group. The hotel is full of wonderful pieces of art collected by the owners, both inside and outside (some of the clay figures are for the annual summer clay parade).

After eating in the cellar restaurant the first night, we decided it was so good we would eat there all 3 nights. That was a good choice. The food was very good. The staff were very helpful and even arranged for us to have a quiet private room our last evening. Our first evening in the restaurant/bar there was a jazz singer (very good and lovely ensemble) and the other 2 nights there was dancing. We had no problem with noise from any of this in our rooms, and they gave us a small discount in advance for those 2 nights.

Good art, great music and wonderful food - all good, but what really set this hotel apart was the staff and owners. Each person that helped us was very kind. After getting a flat tire while out exploring, I returned to the hotel with my spare and the flat tire. It was Saturday afternoon, and the son of the owner interrupted his day to go with me to a local tire shop (which was closed) and helped persuade the worker there to fix my tire for me. This time together was not only helpful, it was also interesting as he was well traveled and engaging and shared some of the history of the town, the hotel and his family. They bring their global experiences and love of art and performance to their work.

The owner is one of the founders of a local clay festival which celebrates the towns roots and encourages the up and coming artists there. They have a passion for what they do. This trip and these people were exceptional, a true hidden gem. I should note that the parking area (locked at night) is limited, but they told us that this summer they will be opening up a large parking area and a beer garden. As far as suggestions for improvement, we had only two - adding a luggage trolley to use on the elevator, and a larger waste basket in the larger room.

Room Tip: Rooms on the top floor heard no noise from the cellar restaurant and bar. There is an elevator. I...

Used my credit card to pay for a 225 PLN for a one-night stay. The cash register receipt was 225 PLN, but the receipt for my credit card was 255 PLN.

Versus fix the credit card bill the hotel staff gave me the difference back in PLN.

We stayed here with our 4 kids in a room with a double bed and four singles. They were all very comfortable and the room was very large. The dinner was delicious (highly recommend the onion soup and the kids loved the stuffed pancakes!) Breakfast was included and delicious! The espresso machine was amazing! Free locked parking, free fast wifi, and a wonderful experience! We'll definitely stay there again and recommend to our friends!
