I really enjoyed the place. We celebrated my birthday there. Wine and starters were really tasty, beef fulet was done as requested, but duck filet was not as good as expected. suppose our odrer was too big for the small kitchen (though only 7 persons including kids).

“good food”
Reviewed January 6, 2013

I enjoyed this restaurant which is off the beaten track but still in zakopane city center. Food was well done and me and my wife enjoyed a nice meal. The cheese plate was nice (nothing special though), the mushroom soup and chicken soup were very tasty. The trout was good but fairly small portion and my filet beef was done as per specification. The raspberry desert was very nice indeed. The waiter was friendly and the overall atmosphere was nice and secluded. All in all a very nice place, that i recommend. But it was not 5 star excellent....

“Perfect escape from the craziness of the Krupowki. Elegant surroundings, great food and value for money.”
Reviewed January 6, 2013 via mobile

We paid a visit to Tuberoza on the basis of its high rank on Trip Advisor, and were not disappointed.

We went on a Wednesday evening, and were one of just two groups of diners in the restaurant, so the atmosphere nights have been lacking a bit - although, to be fair, it was the day after New Year's Day, so maybe people had had enough of eating and drinking!

The decor is very elegant - nothing like the timber and wolfskin decorated places in the Krupowki - great if you want to take a break from being served by a guy in sheepskin trousers or want to avoid the yowling folk music!

Service was swift, and English was spoken.

The food was excellent - two of us in the group are vegetarian, and had no problem with the menu. All dishes were beautifully presented and very tasty. Would have loved to have tried the desserts, but a starter and main course was more than sufficient.

Can't remember the exact number on the bill, but it was a lot lower than we had expected, given the high standard of the place.

“Formal with good value and excellent food”
Reviewed January 6, 2013

Went here with a small group of friends on a ski trip.

The restaurant is quite formal in style but is not "stuffy" or unwelcoming.

Food and service was excellent and reasonably priced - recommended.

“...simply delicious”
Reviewed December 28, 2012

I was travelling a lot last 2 months, visited many restaurants .... and again memory of visit to cosy TUBEROZA in Zakopane makes me feeling that i wish to be back there as soon as possible and wish YOU the same among the best New Year wishes! Once you are there, do not miss fantastic horse radish (zupa chrzanowa) or mushroom soup and truly delicious deer ragout. With a great pleasure I have experienced again in this charming and welcoming place a well composed menu of fresh and truly good food for a very reasonable prices (including wines).
'Bon apetite' in Tuberoza :)
