In last two weeks we have stayed in Hotel Arena twice since we had another trip booked in the middle. I was actually born and raised in Tychy so I know the city well, but it was first visit for my partner. We have choose the hotel for the location since it is close to my parents and close to major bus stop from where you can travel all over the place. We have booked double room but on the arrival the reception told us we will be actually in the twin room, we didn't mind too much since it was only for two nights, but I don't think it would be a problem to change it straight away. For our second visit we had double bed as booked. I cannot remember our first room number, but second time we have stayed in room 127. For 3 stars I was really surprised how well furnished and equipped was the hotel. The quality of furniture, bedding and finishes it is really impressing, especially for the price of around £45 per night. The rooms feels very secure, although we were missing small safe boxes, but you can use main safe at the reception. And Tea&Coffee facilities would be nice as well. Staff was always polite and smiling, buffet breakfast was nicely served with a lot to choose from which made my partner really, really happy. Small advise to all UK visitors, in Poland for breakfast hot dishes are served in much less quantity than in the UK, but you should enjoy really good fresh bread and rolls. We have not used their restaurant in the evening, but we had few drinks from the bar inside as well as on their patio outside. The WiFi is free in this hotel, but cannot comment on it since we didn't have chance to use it. In overall we have left satisfied and we will use it definitely again!
