“Beautiful very old Eastern City - The Bieszczady Mountais Gate”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 6, 2013

This is a one of the most beautiful old cities in Galicia ( not Spanish but Polish Galicja - old fashion name about East South of Poland ) Quiet, nice peacefull whit good attitude to stay for longer . The time is running lower there (In Galician style) than in another cities . This City is dedicated to the individual tourists who want to know more ,who want to touch a spirit of East South of Poland ... Excellent localization to visit the wildes mountains in Poland Bieszczady , if you will be lucky even you will see wild bears ore wolves and many other forms of wildlife. In Old times the Przemysl belongs to the Grody Czerwienskie - the association of the Cities belongs to the Old Red Russ ( not Russ) incorporated by the Polish King in the beginning of Poland .. Przemysl is a rich of different cultures, traditions and people ( border City) who are very friendly .I am strongly recommended this city in a summer ore in a winter ( There is a good ski slop in the City )

“Great city”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 23, 2013

Many venues to visit within this city, walking may be difficult in some areas because of the steepness of the streets. A castle sits atop the high ground of the city and offers a splendid view of the surrounding area. Many shops and restaurants with very friendly staff. Numerous ATMs, banks, and exchanges are located throughout the city. Main park area is fantastic and surrounded by numerous beer gardens where you can refresh and watch the locals stroll through the area. Many restaurants available to enjoy local food choices. Several old churches in the area where you can go inside. Be aware of the cross-walks and do not jay-walk. City seemed to have a lot of pizza restaurants, and most were very good. Cash is most accepted means of payment. I felt very safe walking in the city. Also visit the many small bakeries for pastries fresh from the oven. Very historical and impressive city next to the river. Local train station was restored and most impressive. The local ice cream store is an fantastic with delicious choices and is always crowded. Highly recommend a tour of this city, city guide books are available and should be utilized so you don't miss anything.

“Very well signposted walking route”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 16, 2013

Very enjoyable walk, well signposted with both maps and markings along the way. Local guidebooks/leaflets in English refer to the same walking route, which is useful. The walk goes around the town but also up the hill and into local parks. Lots to see along the way.

“A Hidden Gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 11, 2013

Przemysl is a Historical gem. The Railway station is well worth a visit as it has just been restored to it's former glory. For those with an interest in Military history the area was the starting point for the invasion of Russia in World War 2.
Well worth a visit
