This was our first time staying at Red Bricks Apartment and it would'nt be the last. From receptionists to the cleaners everyone was very friendly and helpful. The apartment that we had was nice and cosy. Looking forward going back to Red Bricks in near future.

Very clean, very spacious and great location. Most of all it was great value with kitchen facilities proving to be really useful. Perfect apart from only two things. Would have been nice to have a bath in the apartment and also our room was two singles put together. Beds still comfortable however. Staff really helpful and cleaned thoroughly daily. Would recommend as a great value and quality base to explore Krakow and surrounding areas.

We took a taxi here from the airport, which was very convenient and about the same price as train tickets would have cost - 60Zl. The hotel is very central, a few minutes to the main Market Square in Old Town in one direction, and the huge shopping Galeria in the other. Krakow is quite an easy place to find your way around - using the river, Wawel Castle and the Planty green belt as guides. The apartment was ideal - a very large bedroom, complete with computer, free wi-fi, TV and sitting area, as well as a second bedroom, a well-stocked kitchen and a lovely big bathroom. The rooms were very clean, with adjustable heating and very comfortable beds. The staff were very helpful and friendly, answering any questions we had and supplying plenty of maps and brochures. We would highly recommend this hotel, if you are planning a trip to Krakow.

Lovely apartment - we went for the deluxe 2 person apartment. Lots of room, all very nicely furnished. Staff were really helpful and lovely people, like all the Poles we've met in Krakow.
Lack of air-con not a problem this time of year. Location is very convenient for all Old Town attractions.
Go to the salt mine - it's a treat.

Room Tip: Bus stop can be noisy if you have to leave windows open in warm weather so higher floor probably bet...

We went over to Poland initially for a friend’s wedding but thought we could squeeze a few days touring round the area. We arrived on the Thursday, we managed to take the train from the airport to the city centre, and managed to locate Red Brick Apartments pretty easily.

As soon as we arrived we were made aware of the tax and squared it up straight away. As we were picking up leaflets, the receptionist asked if we would like to book a trip there and then. and we asked if it would be possible to do Auschwitz and the Salt mine in one day? she said yes gave us a price (250 Zl a head on 19/10/12) for being picked up at the hotel, taken to the places (plus we got a guided tour of both camps at Auschwitz and the salt mine).

There was 24 hour reception which was brilliant as we came back from the wedding on the first day at 6am and the second day at 3am with a knock on a door the receptionist came unlocked it and we went up to our room. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful and spoke perfect English.

The room was spotless with AC but we didn’t need it as the nights were quite cold but there were plenty blankets if we needed. The rooms are also well equipped with everything you could need. The Galleria is 3 mins walk away, The old town about 5 and everything is so close it is in an excellent location.

We will be going back to Poland again as Krakow is a lovely city and would stay at Red Brick Apartments again

Room Tip: Self Catering but plenty cafes and restraunts around in close vicinity

I have just returned from 5 nights in Krakow staying at the Red Brick Apartments. We were dropped at the door, from the airport, by a taxi organised on our behalf by Joanna at the apartments. The building, as you might expect, is red brick and a little off-putting. The reception area is small but we were greeted by a really friendly receptionist who spoke perfect English. We went to our apartment on the second floor in a small, but very efficient, lift. We entered through a bright, clean and reasonably sized entrance hall which had coat hanging space etc. Just off it on the right was the bathroom which was clean and had a shower over the bath. There was a large heated towel rail. Straight ahead brought us into a rather large sitting/dining room and small kitchen. The kitchen was equipped with all you coud need including a dishwasher. THere was a table and chairs, a huge amount of storage space and bed settees to accommodate 3 others if required. The bedroom was huge with high ceilings. there was a settee, coffee table and flat screen tv in it. Like other reviewers I would say that the apartment was dark and I needed to have the lights on all the time, but that is a very small trivial matter. The location is what really made Red Brick the place to stay. It really is only 5 minutes to the Barbican and probably 7/8 to Cloth Hall. Galeria, a fantastic shopping centre is 3 minutes walk as is the railway station. There was a small grocery store and a bakery almost next door. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: There is no swimming pool or restaurant
