I just stayed at the Columbus Hotel for 4 nights in mid January. If you are looking for a warm, hospitable, convenient place to stay, look no further. This is a very nice, small hotel in Kazmierz, where 3 tram lines stop right in front of the hotel making it very convenient to get to the train station and airport. Otherwise, you could walk to the station in 20-25 minutes. The old city center is only a 10 min walk away. Plus you get to stay in Kazmierz, loaded with nice restaurants and historical places to visit. Schindler's museum was a 15 min walk, many synagogues are nearby, plus many fine restaurants. The hotel rooms are clean, have nice furnishings, and the baths are updated and even have heated towel racks. Breakfast is more than satisfactory. The staff is very helpful and attentive and make you feel welcome. I would gladly recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Room Tip: For really quiet rooms, ask for rooms in the back of the hotel.

23.01.13 - just returned from a two day trip to Krakow where we stayed in the Columbus Hotel. This hotel is very well situated between the Jewish Quarter and the Market Square. Only a ten minute walk either way. The hotel staff were lovely and the rooms very warm and extremely clean. There was a good choice for breakfast with both warm and cold choices. The hotel is a small and friendly and is very good value for money.

Room Tip: The rooms at the back of the hotel would be much quieter as the trams run in front of the hotel.

The staff also arranged trips for us and we were picked up from the hotel.
Absolutley stunning place in the evening its like stepping back in time with the old buildings and horse and carts.

Hotel was recommended by friends who had stayed previously. Very nice, small hotel located just a short walk from main square but far enough away so as not be disturbed by any late night revelers. Hotel and room was clean and comfortable and the staff very courteous and helpful. Breakfast choice was good and the food very tasty. Krakow is a great city and the hotel is excellent. Would definitely stay there again and would have no hesitation in recommending it.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the rear of the hotel, less noise from passing trams.

Wonderful hotel on the edge of the Jewish quarter. Very clean and warm. Rooms are of a good size and beds comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with fresh juices, fruit and delicious scramble led eggs. The staff were friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Marcel, Anna, Claudia and everyone.

Would definitely recommend.

Room Tip: Room 26 excellent with back view and balcony.

We stayed at the Hotel Columbus between 14-18th January. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble and they are eager to help in any way they can.The rooms are extremely comfortable, warm, and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was a pleasure with food to suit any taste. Lovely toileteries are provided and bottled water was provided free of charge every day .A good mini bar in the room, very reasonably priced. The hotel is in an excellent location with plenty of restaurants and bars close by. I would recommend booking tours through the hotel, it's just as cheap and very professional guides are provided. There is a tram stop outside the hotel which is handy for getting around. We had a fantastic stay at the Columbus, could not fault anything and are hoping to return next year. Thank you for a lovely stay.

This the perfect little spot to explore Krakow. Rooms are clean and breakfast is adequate. Nothing to really complain about. Staff was courteous and helpful and were willing to do whatever they could to make our stay more comfortable. This is about a 12 minute walk to Main Market square and centrally located to many great little bars and restaurants. Overall I was very pleased with my stay here and would certainly recommend for a short break in Poland.
TV was outdated but room was clean and sizable.
