Very pleasant and old world. I think one very much for tourists Polish and foreign. Not too many locals. It reminded of the "ladies who lunch" equivalent in the UK, The staff were polite and helpful. Carrot juice was off the menu. I fancied it as a change.

You could sit there all day such is the relaxed atmostpher. Staff very friendly and helpful. We just had a drink but were trated to some lovely little gingerbread biscuits free! We asked to buy some for the children and and were given them for nothing. great service Highly reccomended!

We had a disastrous Valentine's Day meal elsewhere in Krakow so decided to console ourselves with a drink. We had walked past this cafe several times and thought it looked interesting. It was also recommended in Krakow in Your Pocket guide book which generally gets things right. Immediately we walked in we were captivated by the decor. A charming waitress acknowledged us straight away even tho the place was almost filled to the brim, we were lucky to find a table. There are several areas and tables are mostly different shapes and sizes with random chairs, all quite close together but this actually adds to the ambience. It is very lively without being overpowering and everyone looks as tho they are having a great evening out with friends. Just the sort of pickup we needed. Unfortunately the first two vodka cocktails we ordered were unavailable so we chose ordinary vodkas with coffee. They were fine and reasonably priced. We didn't order any food but I was nosy enough to look on other people's plates and the meals looked fresh and inviting. There is an abundance of medieval type wooden religious carvings of angels and saints etc which I found really interesting to look at. There are old glass chandeliers and large wooden birds as well along with bowls of planted hyacinths. I presume the flowers change with the seasons. All in all a great antidote to our spoiled meal. If you like something quirky then this cafe will delight you.

Lovely little cafe with great ambience, visited twice. On both occasions the items we wanted on the menu weren't available and I ended up with my third choice., Food though was excellent when it arrived, service a little bit variable. Good place to visit for lunch.

Stopped by here for a few hours on our last night on the recommendations of friends and Lonely Planet. Certainly a nice place and it really did have a great atmosphere. Staff were friendly and efficient. Drinks a little more expensive than most other places (though really only a little). Though it is nice i would say that we found several places off the beaten track that probably deserve a little more attention.
