Krako Slow Wines
Ranked #297 of 2,337 Restaurants in Krakow
Price range: €1 - €5
Cuisines: Polish, Eastern European, Wine Bar
Description: Krako Slow Wines is located on Zablocie, adjacent to Schindler's Factory and the Museum of Contemporary Art MOCAK, and presents a collection of natural wines from Central and Eastern Europe. Among our collection are wines from Hungary, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Georgia, Armenia and Romania. Each place of origin has been visited. The wines' origins, from places closely associated with viticulture, provide far from run-of-the-mill flavours. In addition, we stock interesting beers, Polish ciders and strong spirits. All the snacks and dishes served are carefully selected and prepared using the highest quality ingredients, like the board of Polish farm cheeses, characteristic Sub-Carpathian proziaki (bread muffins), ice cream from the foothills of Hodurek and traditional sausages from Lipnica Murowana. The cozy, wooden interior of the winebar is conducive to intimate meetings and events. We are keen to share the cultures of the countries that fascinate us, as well as local. We regularly organize meetings with interesting personalities, concerts by Karkow musicians and wine tastings with the winemakers we cooperate with. In addition to the wine at Lipowa 6F you can also get to know the flavours of Caucasian cuisine. All thanks to the Krako Slow Grill food truck and Pavel Portoyan! It's a dream come true for the full simplicity and taste of the Caucasus, right in the city centre. Pavel, chef and master of the grill, serves both streetfood and supper. Here you can try probably Poland's best Chaczapuri, czebureków, lamadżio Armenian and Georgian khinkali, while the weekend menu regularly features seasoned steaks, Ojcow trout and the highest quality meats, including lamb.

This is a superb place. For anyone coming out of the Oskar Schindler factory this place is about 50 metres away. Turn left out the factory and it’s right next to a cider place. Clean friendly really enjoyed. They do food platters which you can have half of one and half of another. We had half Hungarian cuts and half Polish cheese. We also had an excellent white Romanian Sauvignon Blanca superb service.
We did note that there was a lot of meat however would’ve liked a little more bread.
Keep up the. Good work

This is located near the Schindlers Factory, in a really cool and quirky space. Great range of Central and Eastern European wines on offer, and beers too. Friendly staff. They offer a small menu of traditional Polish food, we opted for Bigos, a kind of Polish stew and some Polish sausage, the food was all delicious. Great pleace.

I like this place when it comes to wines. I've never eaten there (the place is not safe for celiacs) but I tasted many wines. You can also buy some wine and bring home. I strongly recommend Romanian wines. The staff is professional and can give a piece of advice while choosing wines.

Had a great lunch - Cracovian Sandwich and Solaris Wine. Peaceful environment and non-hurried. It was recommended to me and I recommend it to others.

Krako Slow Wine is certainly convenient if you want to grab a bite to eat after visiting Oskar Schindler Factory tour...it's right next door. Aside from that there isn't anything to make it stand out from any other sandwich shop.

The service was good, our barkeep took time to help me pick out some wines however the selection is somewhat limited with nothing very adventurous. They definitely cater to the tourist trade here.

My wife tried the polish sausage, which she really enjoyed. I tried a sandwich but it wasn't memorable - I can't even remember what was in it.

The restaurant itself is light and open on the inside plus it has outside seating under a series of umbrellas; nice if you want to watch the people going back/forth to the museum.

All in all a nice place; best thing was the convenience to the factory tour, least favorite thing was the pedestrian wine list.
