TEA Time is Poland's first (and only) cask ale brewery. Located beside the Vistula river outwith the main bustle of the city centre, this is a nice cosy and busyn pub with up to 8 handpumps selling cask ales and 1 keg cider. It's about a 15 minute walk from the main square, and I visited it on three occasions and the beers were great, ranging from an English bitter through to a 7% Oatmeal Stout (and IPA's inbetween). A pint cost 13zl which included free tubs of peanuts (help yourself from a vending machine). Large projector TV located in side room with benches was showing live sport, and there was a well attended quiz night one evening. Downstairs there's more seating, and you can have a tour of the brewery. Well worth a visit.
A nice and cozy pub, with home-brewed beers. We had the anaconda, the nettlethrasher, and a couple more beers and we were not disappointed from neither. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to have a quiet drink and some tasty beers.
Went there for drinks on a Sunday afternoon. It was very busy. Service was quite nice and the beer selection excellent.
This is a little gem for someone like me who loves real ales and craft beer. They brew their own on the premises as well as having a lot of guest ones on too. I enjoyed a couple of pints!
After a few days with a steady diet of the local lager in tap in old city, my friend and I were desperate for something different so we hit up TEA Time. It did not disappoint. I had four different beers, including a traditional bitter, an esp, a New England IPA, and a porter. All were delicious, not too heavy or strong, and they went down smooth. The staff were polite and the space wasn't too crowded. Be forewarned: the only food they have there are peanuts. But they will order pizza delivered from a shop in the Kazimierz. We did this -the pizza was worth the delivery wait. All in all, I highly recommend a visit.
We caught the tram to this pub, it is just before you go over the river coming from the old town area.
My husband thought their range of beer was good. The batman gives you a dish to fill up with peanuts. However, he does not ask if you want them, just assumes, BUT YOU DO HAVE TO PAY for these. They don't tell you this, it was only when my husband looked at his visa receipt that he noted that they had charged 3 zlotys. A bit naughty really
Apart from beer, they do not stock anything else on tap, it appears that soft drinks etc comes in bottles..
