Spatz hotel is extremely close to city centre and is a 2 minute walk from the bars in Place Novy. Although the hotel bar and restaurant are so good you dont have to go out. Wawel Castle is a 10 min walk and the market square, Reynek Glowny 15. Our room was a little small but had everything we needed for a 5 night stay. Beds very comfy and staff were just fantastic. Nothing seems too much trouble

Don't be fooled by the prices - this place is worth more than their rates! The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel breakfast was delicious, and the bar is great fun. The hotel is well located for a city break in Krakow.
Our rooms were VERY clean, with a good shower and lovely complimentary toiletries. The beds were comfortable, apart from the pull out bed for the 3rd person in 1 room. I would definitely recommend a stay here!

The hotel has a perfect localization - about 10mins walk to the Old Town Square and 2-3mins to the center part of Kazimierz. We had the room with the window facing slightly noisy street, but with the window closed the noise was inaudible. Every inch of the room and the bathroom was very clean. However, it was necessary to leave the window opened when going out as the air got stuff after few hours. No mini bar in the room, but two bottles of water, tea and coffee to be prepared in the kettle. Wardrobe not large enough to space mid-seize suitcase. TV with Polish channels + BBC + DW + one French + one Italian. Bed comfortable, but a little bit squeaky. Quite large gap between front door and the door frame at the top (see picture). Internet, both WiFi and via wire, working extremely slow. The staff friendly and helpful. Did not dine at the place (there's a bar and mex restaurant on the ground floor). The bathroom with the shower. Warm water hard to adjust - it was either boiling-hot or freezing. Hotel has no parking space, but we were able to find free space on the street just nearby as soon as we arrived on Friday afternoon. No fees till Monday morning.
Generally I couldn't complain. The room was not spacious, but large enough to have a good rest after the stroll, night party in the town or just to have a nap. Comfy bed is here to recommend. Clean, neat, close to the center.

Dear Czurczman,

Thank you for a good review. Comfy beds are our strength and this is what you expect the most in a hotel room. Sadly, we cannot control the noises from the streets but usually try to provide courtyard side rooms for light sleepers. We are localized in the center and as all cites Krakow has "sounds of the city" :).
About the mini bars in the rooms - in response to this, we provide cofee, tea and water without charges. You can also take some beverages from the bar downstairs and drink them in your room. I hope you enjoyed your stay in Spatz and will back in the future.

I’m sorry for inconvenience and thank you for important notes.
Please consider this a warm welcome for your future return.

Kind Regards,
Julia Madej

Stayed here for 3 nts and thought the hotel was brilliant.Best price I could find was with Select A Room and their rate even included breakfast which was a bonus as other companies were just offering similar prices for a room only basis !!!
The Spatz is in a great location which meant we could walk to all the main sites including Schindlers Factory, Wawel castle etc.
We just booked a standard room and it was clean and modern. Nice large bathroom and good heating in the room as it was freezing when we went.
Excellent serve yourself buffet breakfast with the waitress taking your order for hot food items ie scrambled eggs, omelettes.
Staff on reception were really helpful and gave us good advice on getting to Auschwitz and also the Wieliczka Salt Mines using public transport.

Room Tip: Ask for a first floor room if travelling with heavy luggage as no lift. Also front facing rooms can...

The hotel came as part of a "deal" after high grade one was fully booked. The Spatz is modern with good facilities I.e. full bar and restaurant. As this is Mexican we didn't eat there as we wanted the Polish experience. Rooms are a tad small, quite basic but clean and comfortable...not a Luxury stay...not Luxury price! The location is very good, the nearest tram stop Stradom from main train station but the city is accessible on foot easily. Breakfast was "ask and we will provide" style but felt this may be because we were early in the season. The second day there was more of a buffet wit hot fare cooked to order. At 32zloty it's value for money and a good start to the day. The staff were very helpful and so polite and friendly.

Room Tip: There is no lift. Even second floor was taxing for 60+ guests. We overlooked the back courtyard whic...

Dear Kirikiriroa,

Thank you for sharing your experiences on TripAdvisor.

I am very sorry you got a room on the second floor. Did you ask our FO staff to change it into the first floor? I am sure that if there was a possibility whey would change it. Sadly, we do not have any information about the age of our guests so we cannot prepare the most suitable rooms for them. I remain to your disposal for your future visits.

You can always send us an email in order to receive exactly what you expect.
I hope you will forgive us all the inconveniences.

If I can do anything for you, please let me know.
Yours sincerely Julia Madej
