Was disappointed arrived at Museum in good time 9.30am only to be told next tour would be at 3pm in afternoon 5 hours away so be warned try and book on line my fault but you learn by your mistakes.Little tip it is a fair way out from city centre you can get to it by tram car or taxis are cheap.

It seemed like the museum would be more based around Schindler, but it seemed more like a travel through Poland during world war 2.

It was still nice with a few interactive elements I liked, but it was just not entirely what I expected.

A very well produced exhibition that tells the history of Kraków and its inhabitants, both Polish and Jewish, during World War Two. The daily capacity is limited, so order tickets before you go.

Apparently this museum thinks it is so important that is fine to make people to wait in the queue for hours. There is only one ticket booth, and oh boy how slow can you sell tickets! Yes they say you should book a ticket in advance, but why? What if I just want to visit the museum like I do in so many other museums? Why you do not want to sell tickets and let people in? And oh, then they act like you are some second class citizen as you did not book in advance. Because the queuing time gets longer everytime someone with booked museum visit walks in.

Make sure you book ahead to ensure your visit. The museum is chock-full of information about the Nazi occupation of Poland and in particular Krakow. I was a little surprised that there wasn't as much information about Oscar Schindler as I expected but this was compensated by so much information about the Nazi occupation. There is a wealth of exhibits and story-boards and most of the explanations are in English. The only downside was large tour groups moving through the museum and clogging up much of the space. Other than that a worthy visit.
