We walked from our hotel along the river which was beautiful. The surrounding area of the factory was run down but the Factory had been developed into the museum. We feel that if part of the original factory layout had been retained it would have enhanced the experience. The film which was shown at the museum is a must.

Definitely worth a visit. Was surprised when I found out it was a exhibition about the whole of world war two, not just about Oskar Schindler. I think it was well executed and pretty fun. Lots of things to touch, and see, photo's etc, not sure writing and facts sprawled over walls.

This is a well thought out and designed museum. It clearly shows the impact of the German occupation and the consequences for the Jewish community. Our guide did a wonderful job of not only explaining the events but also encouraging empathy and greater understanding of the fear and desperation felt by those whose lives were devasted by the Nazis.
