“Interactive & cheap”
Reviewed November 23, 2012

I thought this place was great! The museum is filled with interactive bits and bobs while the amount of information and history you are provided with is incredible.

It was fun for all ages (I was with my friend, both aged 22) but everyone around had a smile on their face or were absorbed by something. You can take as long as you like in the museum and it is only a couple of pounds.

We went at night (it was dark) so when we were walking back to the centre it was a bit uncomfortable because it is out of the way and we had no real idea of where we were going so it might be best to book a taxi if you are leaving in the dark!

“Good if you are interested in the Nazi Occupation of Krakow”
Reviewed November 23, 2012

If you haven't had your fill of the Nazi atrocities in Europe, there is more to find out here. This museum is not really a place to bring kids. It is depressing to hear about how the Poles, in particular, the Jews in Poland, were treated. At one point, there are several photos of hanged Jews.

Although the museum is housed in Oskar Schindler's factory, it is not solely about him. In fact, it is only towards the end of the museum tour that there is a room dedicated to him.

The museum exhibits are very well set-up - memorabilia, uniforms, weapons, photos, first-hand accounts from survivors and other stuff recount the terror of those unfortunate enough to live during those war years. These are displayed in a very interesting manner so that it is not boring at all to walk through the entire museum. If you are a museum buff, it will take you between 2- 2 1/2 hrs to go through the exhibits. Do not go there one hr before closing as they will not let you in.

The museum cafe offers a nice place for excellent tea, coffee and cake.
