The hotel was friendly, clean and very reasonably priced. The staff at reception could not have been more helpful, they were brilliant. The food was lovely and the rooms were very good for the price. I'd definitely stay here again!

I have just returned from a three night city break staying at Guest Rooms Kosmopolita. I was with a group of seven friends and we all had a great stay at this hotel. The rooms were small but clean and had everything we needed. The bathrooms were nicely tiled and the shower worked great. We were all pleasantly surprised with the selection for breakfast and the hotel staff were helpful in arranging a taxi to take us back to the airport at the end of our stay. I would stay here again and recommend it to my family and friends.

Almost couldn't find it when we arrived, since it is located on the upper floors of a building and doesn't look like a hotel from the street. Which it isn't really - more of a bed and breakfast than a hotel.
Entrance is gained from a buzzer on the street door, though they do give you a front door key for your stay. Facilities are fairly basic, though the rooms are a very high standard - large, clean, good bathroom, and well serviced.
Breakfast is also quite basic - continental style, with a boarding house feel to the dining room.
Staff were very helpful, and the location is very good - just on the edge of the old town, and also walking distance from the train station, which was quite an advantage for us.
Prices for hotels in Krakow are moving up all the time, and the Kosmopolita is still good value if you just want a decent play to stay for a weekend or a couple of days.

I had been staying in Krakow in Hotel Ascot which is great but after travelling throug Poland I needed one night in Krakow before taking my flight back to Brussels and I choose this place for the price and the location and please don't do it!!!!!
Smells awful, horrible treat from the beginning , pigeons on the roof top , beds in bad conditions, dirty covers on the beds,....
Luckily I had to leave at 4 a.m to catch my flight!!!

We stayed at the Kosmopolita Guest House for 4 nights in June 2006 and had a quad. room (2 single beds and a sofa bed). We took a chance on this place without reading any previous customers' reviews. (We just couldn't find any reviews prior to our trip).
The location is excellent, about 8-10 min on foot to the Market Square. We walked every where, even to the Wavel castle and the Jewish quarter. It was quite a hike to get to those places. Central Train and Bus station is within 12-15 min walking distance.
The room is very large and airy. Floor is a bit squeaky. The beds were too soft and not very comfortable. We were very impressed with the large bathroom (large shower stall only - no tub), very clean and modern.
No safe or fridge in the room. There is an elevator in the building, could be slow at times, we often used the stairs as our room is only on the third floor.
Included breakfast was very basic but acceptable.
Afer all, given its official rating of only 2-star, for our short stay and the reasonably low price for clean accomodation in a good location, it met our expectation.
