This hotel is very easy to reach provided you are not visiting the city by car. It is just next to the train station, where the express train from airport is coming. You are just next to a big shopping mall.

This position is very convenient to come in and out whereas if you want to be in the old town it's not the best option. Even if this is a 5 minute walk to reach old town, some other hotels will offer a more typical experience, with a better view and better surroundings/decoration.

The hotel is overall modern, so are the room. We stay in standard room, which are ok. Nothing to criticize. The bathroom are very beautiful and practical with a large Italian shower. A good experience, but for the first stay it's maybe better to choose a typical hotel downtown.

Room Tip: If you plan to visit the city, standard room are OK; upgrade if you are claustrophobic.

We booked a package deal in this hotel for a romantic weekend away, however due to serious injury and hospitalisation a few weeks prior to our stay we were physically unable to travel to Poland. We contacted the hotel straight away to see if we could possibly change the dates of our stay as we had prepaid for the trip. We were told that there was absolutely NO way we could change the dates, even after we offered to pay any differences in prices for another weekend sometime toward the end of the year (ie not in their busy summer season).

I have worked in Hotels for many years and I have never come across any Hotel that is so inflexible and inconsiderate to potential customers. We were not trying to get any special discounts or additional extras, rather we were looking forward to visiting Krakow and their Hotel. I can safely say we will be trying to rebook our trip to Poland but there is no way we would staying here.

We recently returned from a 4 night stay in this truly wonderful hotel. It is ideally situated. Our room was excellent and the price paid included buffet breakfast with something to suit all. We also ate several times in the restaurant and again the food was first class as was the service by all staff from the front desk, restaurant and maids. Would definitely return and recommend.

This is our second time at the Andel's Hotel. We stayed for 4 nights with a group of 12 friends. Everything was perfect - the location is great & service excellent. We really recommend the hotel and will definitely return when we next visit Krakow.

Room Tip: 1st floor room overlooking the square was great for people watching!

This hotel is an okay option for Krakow as it's in a perfect location, the rooms are modern, fairly nice and comfortable.
But, it's not really anything special - it reminded me of an average 'Hilton' that has tried to add some 'surface level' cosmetics to be a bit more modern/hip - but underneath and overall it's fairly average and not that good for the rates - we paid ~$160/night and the prices are high for everything 'extra' - internet, parking, food/drinks etc - all were extra and expensive. The gym consists of a couple of cardio machines in the basement and that's it. The breakfast is 'okay' and bar is way overpriced.
Part of this is because Krakow - although a very nice city - is a bit 'over-the-top' tourist oriented which can get old fairly fast.
After you see the old-town/center, main square, etc, I'd highly recommend eating out and spending time in the Jewish quarter which is much more 'real' and less 'touristy'. The riverfront is also nice if the weather permits.
If you have time, shop around for better hotel options than Andel's, but, in the end, this is a decent option for a couple nights if you don't mind paying the $$.

Room Tip: higher the better......it can get noisy on weekends as big groups and stag-party noise happens often...

Lovely modern hotel, close to all the amenities. The train station is a few mins down the street. Lovely food. Couldn't fault it in any way.

The hotel is very nice with a modern design and feel with very friendly and helpful staff. It is very close to the central train station but with no train noise and at the start of the old central part of town. The location couldn’t be better with less than 5 minutes walk to the main central square. The room was spacious, very clean and the bed was comfortable. The mini bar was hard to find. The next time in Krakow I will definitely stay here again. For the price it was a good value for a modern 4 star hotel so conveniently located.
