Let's start off with all the positives as there are a lot.
The hotel is very modern and clean, the rooms are very comfortable, although shower is in bath and not cubicle. If you manage to get a river view on the 6th/7th floor, you will have a lovely view of the city. The hotel provide a river taxi service to the castle (probably seasonal) and best of all, the breakfast buffet was the best I've ever had.
My slight gripe relates to the swimming pool/jacuzzi/steam room. I chose the Qubus mainly for the pool on the 7th floor which looks great on the website and would mean my wife and I could have a relaxing swim after a days sightseeing.
Wrong !! The pool is about 26x12, so its crowded with three people in and you can do about 4/5 strokes. The jacuzzi is tiny, four people is a squeeze and the steam room seats four but has steam vents that come out onto the back of your legs and so its too hot and uncomfortable. So overall it was disappointing.
Location wise, there are pros and Cons. The pros are, its close to the lovely Jewish quarter and Schindlers Factory, the Cons are, its a 20/25 min walk to the old town, which wasn't really a problem for us, as we could walk off our dinner.
Tips: Krakow Express were excellent for airport transfers and excursions and very reasonable. I wouldn't recommend the salt mines, as twice the price of Auchwitz and it just felt unreal, almost like a Disney set and I had no sense of being in a mine as everywhere you went there were Loos and gift shops and huge rooms with chandeliers.

My overall feeling about this hotel is good but not excellent. The rooms were clean and functional. The staff at the reception generally helpful. The location was good too with access to public transport and a 20 min walk to the old town. The breakfasts are really worthwhile with great variety and good quality of food. The swimming pool is small but pleasant and it has an amazing view! The view from the hotel is gorgeous if you are facing Vistula River.

The few downsides were: no kettle in the room. If you want to unscrew a wine bottle in the bar, you cannot take it to your room but you need to drink it downstairs in that bar. The facilities are not ultra new, some show a few signs of wear. And the biggest problem for me was that we specifically asked for a room with a view of the river but when we came they only had smoking rooms with the view :( The whole corridor smelled liked cigarets, so in the end we decided to stay in a room with no view but at least in the non smoking section.

Room Tip: Definitely ask for one with a view of the river but ... you may not be able to get it.

Great location, unbelievable breakfast (fresh strawberries and cherries in addition to usual fresh fruit. Panoramic views of Krakow from the swimming pool, enjoyed the spa and the river crossing to Krakow centre. Within walking distance of the Jewish area spoilt for choice for places to eat. Just in front of the Ghetto square and not far from Schindlers Museum.

Staff all very helpful, cleanliness excellent.

Room Tip: River view superb.

Stayed there 6 nights, everything was good ! The hotel is well situated, by the river, what will make you walk a lot either to the jewish neighberhood (Kazimierz) or to the main square.

The hotel itself is good, with nice aminities, a pool in the 6th floor with a very nice view over the city. It also has a jaccuzi.

The breakfast is something ! helps you start your day in a good mood.

The personal is helpful and professionnal.

Would go back & recommand.

We had a great stay here and would recommend it to anyone. It is a modern but pleasant hotel. Breakfast is excellent- huge choice. Rooms are on smaller side but adequate. Staff speak good English and are pleasant too. The boat is an excellent extra and the pilot of the boat is a lovely man.
We had a 7th floor room - great views from there. We usually stay in 5 star Kempinski or similar and were not disappointed with this choice.
TIP - it is about a half an hour walk from the main square and we walked briskly. But, the walk is lovely through the Jewish district (totally safe at night too) or along riverside. The best bits for us were this side of town in the Jewish area - lots of great bar there and quaint restaurants.

Room Tip: Odd numbered rooms may have river view and less tram noise - our even one faced an apartment block a...
