Hotel Grodek was a great choice. I chose it due to the excellent reviews from TripAdvisor and wasn't disappointed. We were going to Krakow as a 60th birthday present for my father. We chose Hotel Grodek as it looked to be a really great boutique hotel with individual rooms. My parents stayed in the superior room and loved it. They had complimentary water every day along with a nighlty bed turn down service and a chocolate on their pillow- lovely touch. There was a mini bar in all rooms and the prices for this are the cheapest I have ever come across! My father used the sauna and really enjoyed it. The breakfast was very nice with everthing you could want either hot or cold. The rooms were extremely spacious (we had roooms 105 and 106) and the bathrooms were lovely.

The hotel was only 2 minutes walk from the main square and 5 -10 minutes walk through the park to Wawel castle. We booked to go to Aushwitz and the Salt mines and once again booked this based on a TripAdvisor review. We used around krakow.pl and were amazed at the fantastic service and low prices compared with other tour prices. We booked with them for our airport transfers too and they were on time and most helpful. Highly recommended but you must pay with Zlotys - no credit card!

Overal loved Krakow and Hotel Grodek. Great value and beautiful city.

The location is excellent for sightseeing in the historic old-town, it is also an easy 10 minute walk to the train station. Our room was small but beautifully decorated and very well maintained. We were pleased to see slippers, safe & tea/coffee facilities in the room. The bathroom was very small but fittings of a high-quality and again well maintained. Breakfast consisted of a buffett for continental dishes and hot dished were made to order, the quality of the food was very good and the range was extensive enough. Througout the hotel you can see that attention is paid to the details, both in the decoration and the upkeep.

Overall, we had a very pleasant stay in a beautiful hotel in an excellent location for sight-seeing.

We chose this hotel after reading and researching Trip Advisor and other sources and were very pleased. The location is excellent, the staff friendly and helpful with excellent English. The hotel is beautifully furnished, the linens embroidered and the entire facility is spotlessly clean. The breakfast, included in the room price, is adequate but has a limited selection of items. There is a computer with internet access on the 2nd floor. Glad we made this choice!

I've been staying in this hotel in February. I would say: perfect , small but very comfortable, super stylish hotel! Very good located (in front of the park, just a few steps from city center and castle). Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast wonderful, tasty and full. I would recomend to everyone who is planing to go to Krakow. Thank's to the Hotel.

Out of 17 countries, we give Krakow #1, the Grodek was absolutely wonderful. The staff was more than friendly & helpful, we felt like family. The breakfast was more than expected. Our "Suite" was well worth the price. We never left the town for 2 1/2 weeks. we expected to take some side trips but found the town so enchanting, the Grodek so romantic.....I would return in a heart beat! In traveling 17 countries with ininieries that would kill most travelers, Krakow inspired us to throw our itinery out the window and just wonder slowly and admire. Consider Poland in January, it's beautiful. Buy the book on the town legands and you will be entertained endlessly discovering the places & discovering they still keep these marvelous legand alive today. We LOVED Poland!
