just back from a 4 night stay - faded Grandeur describes this hotel as it is listed property, but the bathrooms are modern and shower hot and constant. Bed comfy, rooms spotless and cleaned every day. Air con a blessing as it was 35 degrees ! Breakfast is a lovely spread of hams, cheeses, fruits, yoghurts, breads etc plus you can order eggs done any way ! The restaurant on the floor below is separate to the hotel and can be accessed both from inside the hotel and on the street. Staff are wonderful, polite, friendly - nothing too much trouble. Arrange your trips from the hotel, prices are on a par with booking in the main square and they pick you up at the door. Hotel is perfect location - 10 mins walk from the centre, would come here again. Krakow is a lovely city - not expensive to eat out, people very friendly. well worth a visit.

Room Tip: We had a room on the 1st floor above the side road, although reasonably busy we were not disturbed b...

We have just stayed here for four days and have to say from start to finish this hotel has not disappointed, sure it's lacking a bit in the old decorating stakes but what's missing there is made up by the attention to detail from the staff who are friendly attentive and try and make sure your stay in this wonderful city is relaxed and trouble free, we never had the breakfast so can't comment but the location is fabulous it's just a short stroll to the centre and a short stroll to the National museum which we highly recommend. The rooms were lovely and quiet and the beds were extremely comfortable and the eclectic taste was a breath of fresh air. All in all a great hotel we will return too without hesitation .. keep up the good work ostoya and hopefully see you again soon

Room Tip: We had room 3 which was lovely and quiet and wonderful high ceilings

I visited this hotel for a 4 day trip to Krakow and cannot complain about the hotel at all. It was very comfortable and quaint, with a large, comfy bed, very modern bathroom and air-con, which kept the room at a nice, comfortable temperature. Whilst I don't think I would call it a 4 star hotel, it is definitely a 3 star and absolutely perfect for travel to everywhere and only a 5 min walk to the Market Square, whilst being wonderfully quiet, to allow for a good nights sleep. The staff were also extremely helpful and answered all the questions we asked them.

Slightly faded grandeur, but comfortable enough, though the air conditioning didn't do much and we never worked out how to close the blinds on the Velux windows. Good breakfast buffet, restaurant was good without being particularly memorable. 5 minutes walk from main square.

Room Tip: Best avoid second floor rooms with Velux windows

Although the staff were efficient the hotel itself did not, in my opinion, come anywhere near a 4* hotel. The room was tired and a single duvet was placed on a queen size bed, the pillows were very tiny, but all spotlessly clean. The windows were 2 velux style ceiling windows, which you could not open unless you were 6 ft tall or stood on a chair, you could not leave the windows open in case of rain. The breakfast was poor, the pictures shown on booking sites does not represent what was actually available. As for the onsite pub, this must be pointed out that this is a sports bar with large screen and can become very noisy. I guess if you only pay £50 per night you would be satisfied, but not at £87 per night!

We stayed for 3 nights. This hotel is on 2 floors and has only 24 rooms but has 24 hour reception, a restaurant and a pub. Rooms were very well appointed and spotlessly clean. All staff spoke good English. Breakfast, at 30Zl, was great value. We did not eat in the restaurant but did visit the pub which was in the cellars and was very atmospheric. The main square of Krakow was less than 10 minutes walk along well lit roads that were well populated by shops, pedestrians and cars including the trams.

In all, this was a great find and can be highly recommended. We found it on Ryanair e-dreams website and was great value at £50 per night.

Room Tip: We were in room 1. It is ground floor and very nicely decortated.

There are so many better places to stay in Krakow its not even funny. For £72, the room was very tired, old, smelly and the bed was completely lumpy. The receptionist should quit her job as she doesn't appear to like what she does for a living. No greeting; no explanation of anything whatsoever. The sauna was across from my room, but locked so no idea what hides behind the secret door. I could not be bothered to ask. The only saving grace to get 1 star was the nice chap to help me with my bags when I arrived and to give me a few tips.

Room Tip: Book elsewhere.
