This place is not easy to find and not easy to get taxi's from so you are best to arrange for a drop off and collection by the same driver if possible. We allowed 2 hours to get around it all. If your into aviation this is one of the best museums to go to. The collection of World War I aeroplanes in one shed is fascinating. Definitely worth a visit. Free on Tuesdays, closed on Mondays, open 9-5 and 10zl admission.

Place worth visiting. Especially for people, who are interested in aviation or history, ofc. Well, I liked it (:

Generally a well laid out musuem, with most indo in both Polish and English. The exhibitions are pretty complete, with a fanstically large range of aircraft dating back to the 1910s. I'd say the musuem was about on par with the RAF musuem in Hendon. It's just a shame you can't go into more planes (I saw just one that was open).

If you like aircraft its a must, soviet Migs and Sukhois galore, its just understated and there. Every Mig from 15 to the 29 with only the Foxbat missing which is probably because the Russians wouldn't let the Poles have any! Also one of my likes the AN2.

This is probably the most interesting aircraft museum I have ever visited. A huge collection of aircraft, and engines etc, ranging from the very earliest to some quite recent Soviet jet fighters. All exhibits are accompanied by English as well as Polish explanations. Easily reached by tram, (get off at Wieczysta or AWF which are either side of the museum) cheap entry tickets. Catering via vending machine. You could easily spend a couple of hours roaming round this site. Mainly Eastern Bloc aircraft though there are some from Western countries including a Spitfire.
