The hotel has an excellent location just a couple of minutes from the main square. Staff were extremely friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. My room was fairly large with a sitting area. The bathroom was good with a large shower. The only down side was the breakfast which was limited and a one time the cold meats were covered in flies.

A cute little hotel which we found through Lonely Planet and which we were very happy to have found. The best thing was the very helpful and friendly staff. The only problem is that none of the three taxis we took seemed to have heard of the hotel. We had to identify it to them by saying it was opposite the Hoiliday Inn. I look forward to the day when they will say the Holiday Inn is opposite the Wielople!

Nice hotel, close to historical centre of town. The room I had was nice with a large shower room. Desk staff is not only very competent but also VERY KIND and VERY FRIENDLY. If I'll go in Krakow, certainly I'll stay at the Wielopole.

Booked this hotel based upon other reviews and was not disappointed. The location of the small hotel is very good. It is within close proximity to most tourists sites such as the main square, castle and shopping mall along with the Jewish quarter. The staff are all very pleasant and happy help when ever asked - They organised our tour to Aushwitz for us which was great .The rooms are a little small, but very clean, the breakfast could be better, but that's probably me being English expecting an English breakfast. (sorry!).
Our first trip to Krakow was very memorable, and if we were to go back, this would be the hotel we would stay in. Excellent!

My friend and I have just returned from this hotel where we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Everything about the hotel was so good, especially the location and staff. The staff were so friendly and could not do enough for you. We booked direct and immediately received an email asking if we would like them to arrange a taxi to pick us up from the airport and if we would like them to book trips to Auschwitz and the Salt Mines. We did all of these things and were extremely pleased with the results.
The location of the hotel is so central 5 minutes each way to both the main square and the Jewish Quarter. Trams stop very close to the hotel.
Breakfast was served in the cellar and was very good.
The room we had was very nice with a large shower room. The only slight complaint we had was our room did not have any kind of view, although we would have likde a balcony and a view this did not spoil our visit. Although when visiting Krakow again we will certainly stay at the Wielopole, but ask for a room with a view.
We found the Polish people extremely friendly and helpful

Room tip: Ask for room on top floor with balcony and therefore a view of the City
