We had been given a lot of information before we went so we knew what to expect, not disappointed at all, no pictures should be taken but people were (we didnt), this really is well worth a visit

We stumbled upon this cathedral by chance and could not believe it is free to get in. One inside you are in awe with the magnitude of the building, the echos and the amazing detail in the ceiling way above.

In a way there is a link to history going in this building which you feel. It is very quiet inside and even with other tourists etc you are able to feel a sense of relaxation and deep tranquillity.

Highly recommended, even if you are traveling alone.

Worth a visit as the interior feels very different to the others with the dark painted walls and ceilings. Beautiful and free to get in.

Another of the great Polish brick churches, with conservation happening in the cloisters. Sit in the church to adjust to the light through a series of wonderful modern (c.1900 and later) stained glass windows, and almost overwhelming neo-gothic wall and ceiling painting.

It is not possible to determine the style of the huge brick building. All is mixed, from old times to the new paintings and decorations. A bronze model of the complex is near the front doors and a monument to an old cardinal to the left. Interior is partly dark but with colorful vaults and new windows. Church is not crowded with visitors in the morning and is very convenient to pray in peace.

One of the most colorful gothic churches that we visited in Poland. When the sun shined through the stained glass windows the reflections on the already colored walls and ceilings made the interior of the church change it's ambiance. The church is only one corner of the complex and when we were taken to the courtyard, our guide explained that the other 3 building/s (that formed the courtyard) were a monastery. The church and monastery were totally destroyed by fire in the 1850's and rebuilt. Today the monastery buildings are being rebuilt where necessary, redeveloped and updated to suit the 21st century but still keeping their original charm. Well worth seeing

Compared to other churches I visited in Krakow, I like it more because of its colorful ceilings, walls and windows( stained glass). The color schemes used reminded me of middle eastern churches or temples.

I said my prayers then took pictures of this beautiful church.
