Owner description: Decorated with vibrant colors and Stanislaw Wyspianski’s famous stained glass window “God the Father.”

Besides being the Catholic church order of our current Pope, this church has a gorgeous modern era stained glass window (God the Father) that works well even in a historical era church. Well worth the visit.

Since I am a Catholic, my view might be considered prejudiced, but even from a purely artistic point of view this is a magnificent building. The huge stained glass representation of God the Creator by Wyspanski is not too be missed. This was Bl.John Paul II's prayer spot. Loved it!!!!

The sign on entering did not make it clear that there was a mass in progress and a few of us were rudely ejected by a monk. I think the sign has to state mass in progress as disappointed we missed it

It is worth a quick visit, if you’re passing, to see the decorations and stained glass, although it is rather dark inside. It has several side chapels, not all were open when we visited. There are some busts and paintings.

We couldn’t find how to get to the cloisters (to see the frescoes and oil paintings) as the gate by the church shop was closed and the door in the church near the altar was closed, it could have been this one but was closed at lunch times, there was a sign on the door.

especially if you're Catholic. This was John Paul II's church before he became pope and he stayed across the street in the apartments when he returned to visit. Church itself is one of the smaller ones in Krakow that I've seen, but it's well worth the visit and a gym of the city
