I booked a suite for one night after reading reviews on Trip Advisor. The hotel is only a few blocks from the Market Square which is the center of activity in Krakow. The room was great and the staff was very courteous and spoke very good English. A bit pricy but what's not these days in a tourist area.

Long overdue review but the memories our our stay and the hotel are still very fresh in our minds. We used the hotel as our base for the 12 days we were in Poland and spent the majority of our time in Krakow. The location was perfect for our day trips and exploring the city. Walking in the city was the best way to see everything. The rooms were sufficient for our needs although somewhat compact, the cleaning staff was very attentive and the front desk staff was extremely helpful and couteous. The breakfasts were filling, even had gluten free bread for one of my daughters. If you want to see Krakow, stay at the Senacki.

Location is perfect for exploring Krakow. We walked easily to the Market Square, to the old Jewish Quarter, to the Schindler Factory, the ghetto. Right across the street from a bus tour to Auschwitz-Birkinau. Room was good, bathroom clean and good. Breakfast - a buffet - was very nice and filled our needs. Staff was very helpful, especially Dorothy (sp?) , who arranged for a bus to Lublin for us. They arranged for cabs for us from the airport and to other places with ease and efficiency. The street in front can get noisy at night, and once during the very early morning.

We stayed for two nights in early May and our only regret was that we were no there longer. We had a room on the top floor facing the street. We loved to listen the hustle and bustle below us and to see the people walk up and down the street. The sound of a classical street singer in front of the church across from us was beautiful.

The hotel and room are really quite lovely. There are open sitting areas on the floor. Our room was spacious with high ceilings. The bathroom was large and renovated. There was water, kettle, safe, and wifi.

The front desk staff were always friendly and helpful. You need to drop your room key off at the front desk when you leave the hotel. A great idea as you get to engage the front desk.

The breakfast is included in the price and was fantastic. It is served in the main floor restaurant and includes a cold buffet and they will make you something hot from their menu. The eggs with bacon were to die for. The service there was excellent and friendly.

As for location, it can't be beat. Smack in the middle of the old town and wonderful restaurants, dessert shops, and historical sights are steps away. Krakow is a very affordable place to visit.

We loved our stay in Krakow and this hotel was a big part of it.

This hotel is in an excellent location on the Royal Way, close to Market Square and Wawel Castle. There are also some very good restaurants very close by. The staff were extremely helpful. Water is complimentary and there is a good deal in the bar for free coffee/2 for the price of 1 on cocktails from 6-9pm. The mojitas were fantastic. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the bathroom was well equipped, with powerful shower but no bath. There was a good choice of options for breakfast.

Room 404 matched our various requests of quietness, high floor, twin beds. However, there were no curtains on the windows and the blinds did not keep out the light, hence we were waking each morning at 5am. Additionally, the lift stopped at the 3rd floor so we had to reach the room via stairs, which could be a problem for anyone with less mobility.

The bar was located in the basement accessed either by stairs or a lift. There was a very unusual set of steps which had to be negotiated from the lift into the bar. Very few people frequented the bar so we had our cocktails at the tables and chairs on the street.

Room Tip: The hotel is located opposite a church and the bells chime at various intervals. I is also on a main pedestrianised street. These aspect needs to be considered when requesting any special requirements. The hotel tries to meet any special requests.

Dear "shirxx",
I am delighted to hear that you were so impressed by the hotel.
We very much appreciate all your kind words about our staff, rooms and breakfast.
We are sorry we did not meet your expectations in some areas, but please be sure that all suggestions are important to us, please note that our bar in basement is located in historic cellars that why you can find there "unusual set of steps".

Thank you once again for your wonderful comments and I hope to see you in the very near future.
Sincerely yours,
Dorota Opoka
