“Very nice hotel - not great location”
Reviewed October 28, 2012

My friend and I have just returned from this hotel after spending 3 nights there. It was clean and spacious and the food in the restaurant was really good and reasonably priced - however we didn't think much of the breakfast (congealed scrambled egg) but we managed to fill up on cereal and a boiled egg with bread. I definitely suggest they get a toaster though! The staff were very helpful and friendly. I wouldn't have booked this hotel though if I had known the location - we had to get taxis into town. I would also suggest that you don't open the window if you are on the front like us as the noise from the lorries thundering past is really loud! All in all this is not a bad hotel but the location is not good!

Room Tip: Choose a room at the rear of the hotel as it will be much quieter.

This hotel is really simple, but we enjoyed our stay. The room was bright, clean and quiet.

We didn't get off to the best of starts- when we arrived, they had no record of our booking so we waited for an hour as they sorted it out. The guy on reception was so stressed as other groups of guests arriving also had the same problem. But once that was sorted the staff were very friendly.

The restaurant serves really good food with a wide range of choices and prices. It was a shame it was so far out of town though because we felt this restaurant was our only choice. There is a little shop on the same 'complex' though, about 5 minutes walk away.

The taxi costs about£5 into town.

Overall very good value, nice quiet place to stay.

this hotel is about 5km from the old town so either take busses or taxis to and from the town - taxi costs between 20 and 35zloty depending on where u pick it up from. the hotel offers a good breakfast, part continental part european. every day there is scrambled eggs and hot dog sausages plus cold meats, coffee, tea, bread, some pastries and cakes, some salad items- u wont go hungry. the evening meals are well priced for a hotel as well to be honest, i had the spaghetti bol and one or two others and the amount was plentiful and they only cost 19zloty each (under £4) . the hotel rooms are massive, beds could do with being replaced though and the curtains just dont fit the big windows. (too small) they are also very thin so when its light outside you know about it.. bathrooms are a good size and there is always plenty of hot water. there is shower gel provided but no hair dryer. there are tea/coffee making facilities but the milk is powdered so get some from town or the supermarket nearby. no fridge but there are two bottles of local water provided daily. free wi fi in every room , although some rooms are better than others. this hotel does have a swimming pool, small but enough for 10 people or so , there is also a fitness room with up to date equipment. there is a life guard at the pool all the time but we mst have been very scary cos he spent most of his time outside the pool area looking at us through the windows. changing rooms are m/f and there are only two individual changing areas that are private. there are lockers, although if someone wanted to steal my clothes then good luck to them. there is a sauna! pool/fitness rooms open from 5pm to 10pm. restuarant open until midnight! anna and lukas were the main receptionists during our stay and were extremely helpful, even helping to print off our ryanair boarding passes for us. many thanks to both of you for adding to our pleasurable stay!!! downside is that the rooms get very hot and there is no air con in the rooms themselves, opening windows is fine but if theres no wind outside then the room continues to be hot. there is building work to the back of the hotel but its not really that noisy and doesnt go on late. for those that want to go cluubbing there is club 66 a hundred yards away - i have no idea what type of club it is though so be warned!! all in all a good place to stay at a very reasonable price, bear in mind the taxi costs though to the old town and other places, unless u want to use the bus/tram - see review about busses to local atrractions - and be careful about where you change your money, u could lose out big time!!

Room Tip: avoid rooms at the front of the hotel, its on an extremly busy road that is busy alllll night and th...

My colleague and I stayed at this hotel in mid July 2012. The hotel is extremely cheap, and by using a promotion, we payed about $100 for three nights. The rooms were extremely spacious, and I found the beds extremely comfortable. They were really soft though, so you could feel the springs on your back. The bathroom was a really good side, with a decent sized shower. The service was superb, providing both quick check in and check out. We wanted to stay an extra night, and we had no problem booking another night. The made was very kind and courteous, and did a really good job.
I suppose the only con to the hotel is that it is rather far from the Old Town. One must take a bus to the tram station, and then take a tram to the heart of the old town. The journey takes just under an hour, but once you learn how to work the trams and buses, it is very easy. Furthermore there was a bus going directly to the main railway station, providing an easy transfer. Taxis are also not too expensive, about 20 - 40 złotys one way.
If you are looking for a comfortable hotel, but want to stay on a budget, I would highly highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was very modern and quite impressive. The staff were more than helpful - we hadn't brought the right adapter plugs so they let us leave our phone on charge behind the desk while we went to the sauna. It has everything and was very cheap! However, it was hard to get to, none of the taxi drivers seemed to talk English we had to find a map and find our hotels street on it and just point - transfers would have been a good idea but we had a beautiful holiday and the hotel was nice and warm after a long day in the snow - we couldn't fault it.
