“Good environment and excellent service!”
Reviewed January 21, 2013

The restaurant isn't very big, but sufficiently not to feel claustrophobic. It is not very illuminated but it is very cosy, with candles on the tables that give it a romantic touch.
It is decorated in tones of red and black, but it doesn't make it dark as the walls are light.
We didn't wait for long, and there was a man singing and playing a guitar.
The staff is great: very friendly and keen to help with whatever you need.
It's worth tasting the typical polish dishes, you won't be disappointed, they're delicious!
We had entrances, mane course, desert and drank wine... For 96PLN (something like 23€)!

“one word: AMAZING”
Reviewed January 1, 2013 via mobile

We booked a last minute New years trip to Kracow and didnt think about what we would do on New Years Eve until it was a little too late. We looked up reviews this restaurant came highly recommended and i can see why, their hospitality alone is worth the visit.

in a vain hope that there was any chance that they had any space in there restaurant for us we contacted them via email on the 30th and they came back to us at 4pm on the 31st to say they did. We'd been out for the day and only returned to the hotel at 8pm, not expecting to have anywhere to go, we called them and they said be there by 9pm as that's when the celebrations start.

We didn't have a table and were sat at the bar but that wasn't an issue as we were so late booking it was kind of them to fit us in. We also had so much fun sitting there, we had a truly lovely evening, it's a family run restaurant and the family and staff made us feel very welcome.
The food was amazing, we had a set meal which was 4 courses, buffet and then stroganof after midnight. To start we had herring with an onion and capers creamy side, followed by quail egg and white sausage soup, then there was a chicken roulade with spinach, sun dried tomatoes and a cheese sauce served with roast potatoes ad for dessert it was a panna cotta with a berry coulis. The buffet was made up of meats, cheeses, breads, Greek salad and then small sweet desserts.
This meal in itself was fantastic, we were both stuffed, we paid 160zl each which included all of the above, either a 0.5l of wine or 0.5l of vodka between 2 of you, (we opted for wine) a jug of juice, sparkling wine at midnight, tea or coffee and then a large bowl of stroganof after midnight and that boeuf straganów was delicious, i would have eaten so much more if I hadn't eaten everything else we'd already been served.

I only have one fault and that is our own, we won't get to go back to experience a normal meal before we leave Krakow but we will be back and we will be going here again. My uncle is coming to Krakow in a few weeks and I will definitely be telling him to visit this amazing restaurant.

“Best restaurant we found!”
Reviewed November 26, 2012

My wife and I Spent three days in Krakow and ate out at various places. Trezo restaurant was very near our hotel and we went in every night because the staff were extremely friendly especially Anyia and Andrew who treated us as friends, the food is top notch, and lighter than the rest of the Polish cuisine we found, at first we just had drinks and starters then on our last night we went for a three course meal. They do the best apple pie in the world and we would recommend that everyone try it at least once. Also close to many other bars and restaurants as its right in the heart of the oldJewish quarter.
