“Not just for the specialists”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 5, 2013

Fascinating place, just off the main square on the way to the Barbican. Easily missed, not particularly well signposted, but well worth searching for. Interesting exhibits, even for the layman, and in a lovely old building. Worth half an hour of anyone's time.

“Limited interest to general visitor but lots to see”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 1, 2012

This museum is on the main tourist street down from the Barbican and can't really be called a tourist trap since it's not shlock-y nor is the sign very obvious (we sought it out after walking by and not noticing it before).

Seems like the product of a retired pharmacist who was a collector. There's a lot of floors in this old building with displays of various equipment and ingredients pharmacists used before ~1940. This wasn't my thing but if you're a chemist or Wes Anderson type you may enjoy the old stuff.

“Interesting exhibits”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 19, 2012 via mobile

The museum is not very big, but it posessed copious historical pharmacy related artifacts. It wad intriguing to see what pharmacists used back in the day and more fascinating when you realize that many of the same drugs are still used today.

“Small but interesting”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 5, 2012

Definitely pay for the audio guide. It's only a few small rooms. It's still good to see, but the audio guide gives you a lot of info which isn't printed by the display pictures.

“Loved it!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 1, 2012

The museum is right on Florianska street - but you'll walk right by if you're not looking for it! It has 3 or 4 levels and goes through the history of pharmacy in Poland. It's great for people interested in health/health history/medicine, etc.
Highly recommend it!
