staff very helpful and friendly food especially breakfast great, dinner not to bad either rooms a bit small but were not going to live in them for the rest of our lives could do with a tea's made in the room. about 10 minutes from city center always order taxi from reception as it will give an idea of price when coming back to hotel check price with taxi when coming back to hotel as some can be a bit of a rip off will stay here again very satisfied.

This place is just lovely ...exactly as it looks on the pics.we booked through jet2holidays.nothing is too much trouble here, superb reception staff who have a wealth of knowledge.superb bar/restaurant staff.our first night we ate in the bar as the restaurant was full of a group of college kids on a trip, we ate out every other night (reviews of these I will add too).we booked 2 tours ..1st to Auchwitz, 2nd to Salt Mines, booked both through reception, very simple to do and very efficiently done.Auchswitz was an amazing but somber place, our tour guide Evelina for the camp was amazing and had a vast knowledge of this horrific place, it really a must visit if you are here, slightly upsetting in some parts, but this is such a historic place , you have to respect it.
The salt mine guide was just as fab.both booked through krackow tours ..1st tour started at 8am pickup , back by about 4pm .wear comfy shoes, a fair bit of walking.2nd tour same time pickup ..back by about 1pm ...again wear comfy shoes.
City centre is soooo easy to get to .either 20 min walk of there is a tram stop a 2 min (and I mean 2 min) walk from Chopin ...we used either number 4,10 or 20 ...these all go to centre or thereabouts .we had a superior room with tcmf (this is replenished only every 3 days)..very clean room and bathroom with shower with toiletries(could have not taken our own).I would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed this hotel. The service and food was excellent and it was great value for money. We really enjoyed the evening meals and my only slight complaint was that they had not quite got the hang of making tea with boiling water, but the coffee and everything else was good so no real problem.

This was our second visit to The Chopin, the first being in November 2012.
We were given a warm welcome by the friendly and helpful staff, who had prepared the rooms for our disabled guests early at no extra charge (by prior arrangement via email)
The hotel and rooms were clean and well presented, but I would recommend fellow tea lovers pack a travel kettle as our rooms didn't have hot drink facilities.
The bar is good, with an excellent range of drinks and snacks, the cheeseburgers come with fries, salad and dips and are more like a main meal than a snack.
I intend visiting Krakow again in the near future and will use this hotel again without hesitation.

This Hotel, 20 min stroll from Krakow centre, quicker by tram, was very good in all aspects.
Room was good and service was excellent in the restaurant and bars.
The food was excellent in the evening and very good value.
The drinks were very fairly priced.
Down-side is they cannot make morning tea?????(no "hot" water)
Reception service was excellent in every respect and very helpful for organising a Salt Mine Tour.

just had 4 days here for my wifes birthday and the only thing I could complain about is that they dont take euros. Its there loss because on our last day I would have spent some money in the bar on food and drink but couldnt cos the exchange was closed and they wouldnt take euros.apart from that its a fabulous hotel.its clean friendly and well positioned about 1 mile from krakow square. I wouldnt recommend upgrading to get tea/coffee facilities as someone suggested.the standard rooms are fine and we took a travel kettle!cheaper than paying 10 euros a night for an upgrade.the food was generally quite good (same every morning but well cooked and adequate.) unfortunately theres nowhere to eat in the area around the hotel so we generally ate in the square.theres some great pubs and plenty of pizzarias etc.we did have a burger in the hotel bar (which again was well cooked and presented) so finally I would definately recommend staying here its well worth the money.

Room Tip: ask for a room away from the lifts as that was the only noise we heard.

we checked in a standard room but upgraded to superior room upon arrival , for just a little more per night the standard room was fine but had no tea making facilities. the reception stafff were very helpful and our whole experience at the chopin was good. we ate in the restaurant in the evening and food was lovely. would recommend and would stay there again .The only negative thing was that the room was very warm at night.and we had to sleep with window open.for some of the night. .
