“Lovely old district”
Reviewed April 26, 2013

It doesn't look the best but once you take a bit if time and go into some of the shops and have a really good look around it is a 'happening' place, we were told that it was a up and coming place and I could see why considering its a very quaint district. If you spent some time walking around away from the main streets you can see why. You need to make sure that you go to the old square and check out ul.estery 20 which is a street and that has a lovely bar and round the corner is the big bridge with all the love locks on it

“Area looks grubby but what history and great bar/cafe scene”
Reviewed April 22, 2013

Stayed at the Astoria Hotel. Good value and I preferred being in Kazimierz rather than main City (10 minutes walk away). The Schindler filming was done mostly here and you can see why. A good guide book is better value than a guide. Friday and Saturday nights were heaving ,plenty of people drinking hard but I never felt unsafe. The late night baguettes in Plac Nowy are not be missed even for an old codger like me queuing with the kids. Also try the Ul Szeroka bars as they offer a good experience for casual or formal eating and drinking. Mike Vaudin. Guernsey. Channel Islands.

“Jewish district in Krakow”
Reviewed April 22, 2013

Because there is been such growth in the Krakow area, there are very few jewish sites still untouched in the Jewish area. Best if you take a walking tour, to see the specific sites and history.

“A taste of what Stephen Spielberg saw during his filming of Schindler's List.”
Reviewed April 19, 2013

Original buildings in this area which has a wonderful selection of bars and restaurants. The concert held in the old synagogue was of traditional Jewish music with a jazz slant. Exceptional!

Reviewed April 19, 2013

stayed in the regent, great hotel. the area itself does look a little dingy but when you look past the facade you will find some amazing places to eat and drink, or just relax and hang out. very friendly and will be staying in the area again.
