We loved Krakov, and the location of this hotel is perfect, close enough to the huge (and crowded with tourists) main square to be interesting, but just far enough away that you can sleep in peace. In the heart of old Krakov and a nice stroll to the surrounding green belt.
Reception was fast, friendly and efficient - and they go the extra mile! My mother sent a letter to try and reach us during our three day stop in Krakov and missed, the nice people at Elektor put in a new envelope, bought postage and mailed it on to us in California! I was very shocked and pleased to receive it - thank you!
The room was dated but comfortable, with nice mid century furnishings, very high (5m?) ceilings and a distinct retro feel (shabby chic). TV was modern, although we didn't watch it. The entire hotel has an old world charm.
Bathroom was big and had a full bath, which was a treat after many hotels with stand-up showers only.
Breakfast was full and very tasty, served in a cellar below the hotel for an interesting dungeon-like dining experience. Very fun. Staff in the breakfast area were not particularly attentive.
Overall we would definitely stay here again!More
