This is a well-sited hotel with very friendly staff, great rooms (well ours was! Room no. 1), a tiny fitness area and a good restaurant. Although our room was located directly off the lobby and faced the front of the street it was extremely quiet. We stayed here 22-26th Feb. Although 3 out of the 4 days were bitingly cold the hotel was warm and toasty. The bathroom was great - the thing that made it for me was that the towels actually smelt of clean washing rather than anodyne hotel bleach! The toiletries were L'Occitane and there was a separate bath and shower. The bathroom also had a heated floor and there were lots of towels. The breakfasts were excellent and we had dinner there one night which was highly delicious too. The staff were friendly and had lots of helpful suggestions about where to eat. They helped to organise a trip to the Salt Mines (yes we could have done this cheaper ourselves, but this is Poland so we're talking only a few pounds). Highly recommended as a place to base yourself for a short trip to Krakow.
