We arrived early and tired from an early flight and was immediately shown to our
our room with the least amount of paperwork. None of this rubbish of not being able to go in till midday.
We found the staff extremely polite and helpful atall times.
We organised two trips through the hotel which was done trouble free even though
we had left it until the last minute to arrange .
The overall service and cleanliness was second to none .
The breakfast was plentiful with a choice .of cereals bread toast cold meats tomatoes yogurt honey and jams .Also very tasty scrambled eggs selection of fruit and cakes. A choice of four different coffees and tea if you prefer. As much as you want .
I intend to visit krakaw again and would stay nowhere else. It's location is ideal , peaceful at night and only a short walk away from many places of interest.

Very nice and comfortable hotel with very helpful staff. It was a pity that the bar and restaurant were closed for refit but no information about how long before reopening although reception did recommend a number of nearby eating places. Thanks to all the staff for a wonderful week.

Room Tip: if possible try to get rooms away from the front of the hotel as there is some noise from the bars n...

I can not stress how much I would recommend the RT Regent Hotel to anyone visiting Krakow. We stayed in September 12 on what was our first visit to the City based on Tripadvisor reviews and I am so glad we did. The service in the hotel from start to finish was impeccable, all staff are extremely helpful, courteous and speak excellent English. Some of the notable services include free wifi, a free city map & free luggage room. The breakfast was very nice and was traditional Polish cuisine which for us was not a problem as we where keen to try Polish dishes, but just dont expect to be served the usual 'Full English'. The location of the hotel is brilliant, in the heart of the vibrant Jewish Quarter and a pleasant 15 minute walk to the Old Town Market Sqaure. There are so many bars/restaurants within 1-2 minutes of the hotel you really are spoilt for choice. I would like to thank the Hotel and all its staff who made our first visit to your fantastic City so memorable and enjoyable, there is no doubt we will be staying again.

Just returned from our first visit to Krakow. On arriving at our hotel the area looked a bit 'scruffy' and we wondered if we had made the right choice! The hotel has a very homely/comfortable feel about it and the staff couldn't be more welcoming or helpful. They gave us lots of information about the local area, places to visit, eat etc they also booked tours for us, probably a little more expensive than the tours you can book locally but the service was excellent, we were picked up from the hotel, taken to Auschwitz where we had an English speaking guide who took us around, a very sombering experience but well worth it. We also visited the salt mines, Wawel castle and the Schindler factory, all worth a visit. The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable with fresh white bed linen and towels there is also hand soap and shower gel available. There is no kettle in the room but we hired one from the reception. 15 zlotys for the entire stay, and we were supplied with tea, coffee milk and sugar everyday. The hotel is 10mins walk from the main square but there are plenty of restaurants nearby as well as many bars. We intend to return to this hotel in the near future.

We researched this hotel before we booked it. Six of us i.e. three couples for 4 nights. We booked it because there was a restuarant and a bar and it was within walking distance of town. Right on one account only, walking into town. Every night we had to walk into town to get dinner and a drink as the restaurant and bar were closed. No coffee or tea making facilities offered. We did ask about the advertised restaurant etc but received no explanation, infact the staff were as annoyed as us and asked us to make these comments about the lack of facilities.
The reception were very helpful and tried their best in all things to do with our room but were helpless in the other respects. Breakfast was there but a very large group were on a bustour and most of the food was already gone by 8.00. Very little was replenished so very little choice or nothing left. Things better on the last day because they had left the hotel the day previously.

Room Tip: choose room at side or back of hotel, they are quieter away from the rowdy publis and car alarms at...

Dear Sir, Madam

We apologize for any inconvenience and disappointment concerning the work of our restaurant. Due to necessary repair and replacement kitchen equipment had to limit its availability for guests. We propose to use other proven and popular nearby restaurants. Of course, we realize that this is not always satisfactory for guests.
We will make every effort to solve this problem as soon as possible.
Despite these disappointments, thank you very much for the general good opinion of our other services.

Best regards

My wife and I stayed here for four nights at the end of August for our anniversary. On arrival we were greeted nicely. We were given our room on the ground floor. This initially wasnt a problem until we realised there was no aircon and it was over 30 degrees c. I asked at reception about a room change which was rejected due to them being full. I explained about the heat that we didnt feel safe leaving the windows open whilst we slept (street level room). I have stayed in Krakow on numerous occasions and it is extremely safe for tourists, nevertheless we were worried. I explained my worries to the receptionist who showed us the window shutter. This dropped down and secured the room thus allowing the windows to be left open. Trouble was the shutters then closed off any fresh air except through very small slits in the metal slats. We will not stay in the regent again in the summer when we visit next time but only for this one reason. Otherwise it was a great break we especially enjoyed the garden bar one minutes walk from the hotel.

Dear Sir,
Thank you for your review of our property. We are very sorry that you were disappointed with the lack of air conditioning in our hotel. Our goal is to meet all expectations of every guest but sometimes we can not do anything. I apologize that we could not change your room on a higher floor but we really were fully booked. I hope that you give us a second chance in the future.
Kind regards.
