Wow I had already been wowed by all the churches in Krakow but made sure to stop off on the last day to make sure we saw this one also and it was easily my favourite of the lot a stunning piece of architecture and plenty to see!

Whilst on the castle site, cathedral and museum are run and paid for separately.

Portable electronic guides are available for small cist and we'll worth while.

Cathedral and historic figures buried there are fascinating and building is a most beautiful site with different styles added at different times.

Makes a good trip when combined with Wawel Castle.

Make sure you pay for the audio tour which is probably the clearest description of where to go and what to look out for. Well worth the 7 Pln extra.

This is a remarkable site. Far better that I imagined (and better than tour books suggested). It is filled with remarkable sites -- Altars. Sculptures. Paintings. Some are really breathtaking. We stopped in because the Royal Castle was closed. Tour books spoke nicely of the cathedral but not enough to put it on our visiting list. Glad we did. I think it's far better than visiting the castle. Put it on your list.

How impressive is this place, knowing the culture and everything that has happened during these centuries of conquest and liberation, from the top of the castle you can see the whole center of Krakow. very nice and clean the city is completely organized and impeccably clean.

We went to Krakow in October and it was a wonderful view from our hostel to see such a beautiful place as the Cathedral. It's a absolutely good place to visit.

Castle was within walking distance from the main square. You can book different levels of tours. Give yourself at least a half day to walk round the castle. There is also a tea room and gift shop.
