Worth going up the hill for the views, and it is very beautiful. However, I bought a ticket to go into the cathedral and while it's as beautiful as cathedrals tend to be, having a staff member around every corner checking your ticket and punching a hole in it was overkill, distracting and very annoying. Most annoying was when I took a wrong turn off the route and walked back (the wrong way down an empty corridor, shock horror), the attendant guard actually shouted at me like a criminal. I left then, and wouldn't ever go back because of that.

Climb the slope at the side of the Castle and seen the wonderful view of Krakow and the Wisla river. Another must during your visit to this truly charming city.

“Must see”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 2, 2013

The whole of the Wawel Hill is a must see in Krakow and the Catherdral is wonderful with all the historic feel and the kings and queens buried there. Walk doen on one side and you are on the Vistula river which can bring you along to either Kazimierz (the Jewish Quarter) or back to the Old Town.
