Wawel Royal Castle well worth a visit. We spent a couple of hours there. Lots of steps up, so stop for a breath and take some pictures

The grounds are free to look around. We didn’t pay to enter inside but the grounds alone are worth adventuring. Beautiful views of the cathedral/castle and the surrounding areas. If you needed to know there are toilets and they take card payment if you have no change which was about 39p.

Me & husband have not long been back from our trip to Krakow for my husbands 40th birthday. We visited many places on our trip but most definitely didn't want to miss visiting the Castle. The sun was shining although a little chilly & the sky was blue & the castle was stunning. We didn't pay for full access into all the areas of the castle (some were closed due to the winter season) but we paid for the castle tour & audio. It really didn't disappoint! The cathedral was beautiful & the views from the bell tower were fantastic. The audio tape was very interesting & informative.

So much to see, not least the dragon spouting fire!! We spend a very relaxed couple of hours, blessed by some warm February sunshine.

Not much too do once inside. Impressive architecture. The cathedral was very interesting, the climb up the bell tower was good with very impressive beams
