Very nice place close to the center, at 15 minutes by foot from the Sukiennice. It's a big place surrended by a cathedrale and some castle. It's on a small hill, enough high to have a great view of the city and not too much to avoid any transports. Take a moment to walk there.

Very impressed with this building and how well it is maintained. One of the largest castles I have seen. Not expensive either, very educational to boot.

Visiting Krakow wouldn’t be complete without visiting Wavel Hill & the castle. Lovely historical site with plenty of history. Easy to spend couple of hours taking in the beautiful Castle, grounds & surrounding buildings. Great views over Kraków from multiple view points.

Worth a look and a walk around the grounds and the outside along the river. It’s an amazing view to look up at the towers and the walls etc. There’s a cafe and various rooms to go in.
We didn’t pay anything to look around.

Very grand and picturesque
You can walk round the outside and the internal grounds for free but if you want to go inside it costs you but not a lot.
We did private chambers. Treasury and castle it’s self think it was about £12.50 each.
There is also the church in the grounds again free to walk round
Nice couple of hours and you can also purchase an audio tour.
