Beautiful castle, stunning grounds and amazing views, a must see. Huge grounds, lots to see, cafes etc there too. Quite steep in places

This is a stunning castle in the centre of Krakow just a 5 minute walk from the main square. A slight incline with plenty of entrances around making this is easily accessible. The views from the castle are stunning overlooking the river and the mound in the distance. The buildings are beautiful and unique and the grounds kept extremely well. A couple of toilets around and a small cafe. You can pay to go inside various parts of the castle and a very small fee to go down the narrow steps to the dragons cave. The fire breathing dragon statue at the bottom is a great hit with kids!

Absolutely 100% worth a visit! If the weather is nice, you can stroll around and enjoy the beautiful view. If the weather is bad or rainy, you can visit the inside, Cathedral or any exhibitions.
Either way: very nice to see this.

Definitely go down in the Dragon’s Den and wait at the end for at least 5 minutes and watch the dragon statue (at the end of Dragon’s Den, on the riverside)

Amazing views...take your time to enjoy this amazing treasure! It is a difficult climb for older visitors but well worth the effort.

Stunning castle and surroundings, free entry and loads to see here, one word of warning ,,, if you pay the £1 or 5sl to see the dragons den be aware it’s a one way trip down loads of spiral stairs and to end up outside the castle on the river bank, had to walk all the way back up to find my wife who was waiting up top.
