“great architecture, converted into a craft hall”
Reviewed May 8, 2013

This historic building now houses several small stall units containing souvenirs/craft items. There are a wide variety to suit all purses, some "tat" as you'd expect, but mostly local items/momentos that are worth a look. Lots of carved wood, glass, amber as well as t-shirts etc

“Centre of main square”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

Cloth hall is one of the main attractions in the square, full of stalls with plenty to buy, but remember to barter. Plenty of restaurants and bars surrounding it.

“Impressive centrepiece of main square”
Reviewed May 5, 2013

Whilst we did not go into the art galleries within the Cloth Hall, we did spend a little time shopping in the many market stalls.
I'm certainly no market expert, and whilst the stalls did sell the usual 'tat' in my opinion, there was a good spread of gifts available, all for reasonable prices.

“Part of the main square”
Reviewed May 4, 2013

I was expecting to see lots of cloth and clothes, but it is not, it is a covered market for the tourists. However it was busy and clean but the architecture was amazing, and there is a beautiful Cafe / Restaurant to be seated at on the floor above with stunning views of the square, and wonderful to sit in on a sunny day with coffee or a beautiful Polish Beer!

“Loads of bargains!”
Reviewed May 3, 2013

Although most of the stalls had very similar items, we found that everything sold was very well made and well worth the money
