Definitely worth seeing. Informative signage in English.
Be warned that they will charge you admission but have no toilet facilities for the public. They will tell you to leave and look for one at nearby restaurants. Really??? If you come with kids, keep this in mind

This is a small museum based in the old synagogue. It is a museum mainly of historic Jewish life in Krakow and about Judaism. We spent about 45 minutes here and found some of the exhibits on display interesting.

An old synagogue which is now run by the Kraków Museum Department. The building inside retains features of a synagogue but is in fact now a museum. There are many boards with lots of information about Jewish culture and many exhibits of objects explaining more about Jewish life (everything is explained in English as well as Polish.. when we entered the main room, we were struck by the atmosphere which was that of a special, sacred place. Well worth visiting.

This 15th century building is very good point to start your tour around Kazimierz. The exibits show you the religious habits of the Jews very adequately (although maybe in a bit old-fashioned way, but it's good nonetheless) - sometimes there is an option of trying your way as Torah scriptor, which gives it all an interactive touch.

The place shows you just the fraction of richeness of Polish Jewish culture so sadly neglected by Germans back in the Nazi days, but also is a very hopeful sign of Jewish revival in Krakow, Poland and Europe in general. Maybe it will be back as a religious centre one day? Who knows, hopefully so :)

This is a beautiful old building, very light and simple inside, with an interesting range of displays about the Jewish district of Kazimiertz, the synagogue itself and Jewish festivals and traditions. A very good introduction to the area.
