“Heart of Cracows Market Square”
Reviewed February 10, 2013

I just love this building. I love the way it looks, I love the climate it gives to main square (: When you get inside, u feel the sense of candles and incenses.. the way every church should look like.

“Worth a look”
Reviewed February 4, 2013

One of the iconic buildings in Krakow's Old Town, you just have to have a look inside. The High Altar is an absolute masterpiece - you have to pay to get a close look at it, but can enter the church at the other end for free and still see it in the distance.

The downside for me, as with many other Catholic churches and cathedrals, is that although they are magnificent to look at, I can't help questioning the morality of displaying such wealth and opulence when there are millions of catholics around the world living in appalling conditions. If God exists, then I think he's lost the plot somewhere on this.

“Beautiful”
Reviewed February 2, 2013

You buy tickets in the building opposite for around 6zl a photo pass is extra. It is a beautiful Church with many different areas. If you are interested in religion I'd highly recommend. If not there are plenty of other beautiful churches you can visit for free

“Beautiful church once past beggars”
Reviewed February 2, 2013

Lovely interior of the church, if you want to see the detail on the altar then you have to pay to go in the tourist entrance at the side. If you are happy enough to see the nave and some of the side chapels then just go in the church entrance overlooking the square and below the two spires.
It is slightly of putting to be pestered by beggars even as you attempt to pray and light candles.
