If I didn't know it was something wort walking to, I wouldn't have walked past it and realised!! It is pretty, but not spectacular.

“Very atmospheric”
Reviewed February 21, 2013

We stumbled upon St Florian's Gate when we were wandering around the Old Town. It's very pretty and has a little shrine inside, presumably to St Florian himself. On the inner wall, there were works of local art for sale.

“Entrance to Krakow historic city”
Reviewed February 20, 2013

It is impressive and outstanding. It is the entrance to the historic city and played a very important historic role. Under its arch is an altar to the Virgin Mary always well cared for by the nuns that are always nearby

“The old wall's tower”
Reviewed February 17, 2013

I'm not into art but the old architecture of the wall and tower fortifications in Krakow are their own form of art that you just have to appreciate. If you are as fortunate as I was today you may get to see local musicians playing for tips under the arch of the gate. If not, just pass on through and check out the other attractions so close by in the Planky.

“Worth seeing this historic gate”
Reviewed February 16, 2013

Well worth walking through and past the gate, but there's not a lot to keep you here, especially when the weather is really cold.
